  • Thanks for posting this. Incredible. I visited stone circles in britain, france, even Hong Kong - but this is a real shock. Although it has been fairly clear for some time that prehistory is a massive gap in our knowledge.

  • Thank you for the apology AmadeusD. Next time I'm in a similar situation, I won't be a stickler for dates :) If you have other interesting video's of this nature or other uncommon topics do share. All the best :)

  • AmadeusD I'm not trying to discredit the value of your work or Andrew Collins work. You've both done great work irregardless of who found out about it first. Post more video's and don't get distracted by my one comment about a date. I like your video as I said let me know when you make another one. Keep in touch.

  • @OnyxPhoenix I'm sorry if i came off as aggressive or defensive. I was mostly trying to counter the claim that some of Andy's theories could be suspect because he was wrong about the dates the information was available. I wouldn't have been available until the time he said, presuming he didn't have some honourary team-member status.

Anyhow, i didn't meant to set you up or anything, i didn't take offense.

  • Thank you for proving my point AmadeusD. The information was present prior to The Ashes of Angels therefore the author in this video did have access to that information. That then contradicts his statements regarding no prior knowledge and calls into question a certain level of validity and authenticity on some of the other points raised. As I said, good interview non-the-less and quite informative.

  • @OnyxPhoenix You cannot ignore the crux of my post and expect me to take you seriously. I repeat: Now, no real work was done for a while and the first excavations were years in the making. It wasn't untill around the millennium that anyone like Andy or I had any real information about the site.

It is not his problem if the fact that he was not Klaus Schmidt, or on his team, prevented him from having access to the information.

  • Good video it would be nice if there was imagry to go along with it. Good interview none-the-less.

  • Golbekli Tepe was discovered in 1995,1-2 years prior to writting The Ashes of Angels. This means that he did have access to the information prior to writting his book. This is a contradition to what has been said above. I'm sure he has some excellent arguments on other arguments and I don't refute those, I simply noticed that contradition.

  • @OnyxPhoenix Actually, it was discovered in 1964. Klaus Schmidt 're-discovered' it in 1994. Now, no real work was done for a while and the first excavations were years in the making. It wasn't untill around the millennium that anyone like Andy or I had any real information about the site.
