The best idea as a spy that is awesome for me is to hide on the left or right of a map (not at either base). When someone walks by, disguise as medic and stab.

@kaza12345678 it cloaks you for a few seconds, and can be recharged by standing still while cloaked or turning off the cloak. Once the cloak's charge is over, you will be half visible.

It depletes the cloak when moving, and by an amount depending on the speed you're travelling.

i.e. It lasts 7 seconds when running, 30 seconds when crouchwalking and forever if you stand still.

However, you can't recharge it using metal / ammunition, which is a HUGE drawback, believe me.

I'd use the cloak and dagger to report sentry locations, type of enemies passing through spawn and of course back stabbing.

Can someone explain to me what is making the 'Clock and dagger' different than the normal invisibility watch please ?

When using the Cloak and Dagger, you can stay invisible forever...as long as you don't move. When running with it, your invisibility meter goes down quickly, but when you stay still, it recharges slowly.

ok. this is how to spy: when running with your own teammates, be DISGUISED AS SOMEONE FROM YOUR TEAM. It's obvious if you're some random blue running around with the reds.

To those who say that CAD sucks, u seriously should have more practice with it, it is extremely valuable to spies.

The key to being a good spy with the CAD is how u use it, dont blame CAD, blame urself for not knowing how to use it effectively.

Except C&D allows you to sit in one spot perma-cloaked waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike; GOOD spies will realize how valuable it is, while bad spies will continue to get caught ;)

true the scout disguises cannot fool people but the same holds for just about any other disguise these days. everyone is just too paranoid.

i personally use the scout disguise only when i'm hiding around the corner. the scout has probably the shortest gun and thus it will be the least visible. i don't use the disguise to fool people. i use it to hide beacuse the scout is very small. but yeah in general it should not be used

If you want to play a Spy with the Cloak and Dagger wielded, you've got to be patient, very patient.

You've got to wait for the right moment and don't be too hasty. When being too hasty, death will follow without any doubt and within seconds without meaning something for your team.

If you wait for the right moment, you could change the tie of the entire game.

Still, I sure know as hell easy backstabs look tempting :P Fall for them dozens of times xD

Well sometimes the cloak and dagger works better for ppl that need to cloak to stay out sight for awhile, then they can just sit in a corner with no one knowing where he is, Useful in 2fort to me because I can just sit there forever and be an actual spy a bit. Telling my team who is coming and where, where sentry's are, if the intel room is guarded with sg's. The dead ringer is for ppl that need to trick them and go into the frontline of battle, but I love the Dead Ringer ,too.
