Norm Coleman has been a strong leader in St. Paul MN when he was the mayor and now as our senator on Capitol Hill. Please remember to vote for Norm Coleman for US senate this election.
Last poll according to the Star Tribune shows Coleman ahead of Stuart Smalley 53 to 38. What does snap mean? Oh and good job debating a point when you have to resort to calling me a Nazi.
But for an incumbent to be in such a tight race was quite a humiliation. Speaking of humiliation, did Norm ever get shub's brown stuff off his nose? Did you lick it off?
You're cute confidence would allude that Franken would get part of that 300,000 windfall Obama got. Incumbent or not, this was not the Republican's year, any other Democrat besides Franken probably could have won. MN chose a failed carpetbagger. You have a weird obsession with licking men's bottoms. Must turn you on to think of it. You are a real class act.
Norm was quite the little Bushbot back in the day. Some joked that he had his nose attached to shrub's anus. If that's true they could arrested in Texas right now for an illegal act.
For any incumbent senator to be so vulnerable in an election is quite a critique for Norm's tenure. Al raised a lot of money, and not just for himself. He was poling very strongly months before the election, which is almost unheard of for a challenger (cont...)
The smart money is that Norm will concede eventually, and damaging his reputation and and future political career as well. Like a good Bushbot he is following orders from above to drag out the process as long as possible. This is to deny the Democrats a 59 seat majority as long as possible. Norm might not be quite smart enough to realize the lawsuits are a bad long-term political career move. But then again Norm didn't see the long-term downside to sycophancy.
If Franken were 200 votes behind, and you don't think he would be suing the results you are crazy. With a 200 vote difference and inconsistency in how votes were counted - weather it's Franken or Coleman we need the process looked at so the right person is sent to Washington. When all legal votes are counted once, it will be Norm Coleman going to DC.
What country were you in this year? Most Democrat challengers swept Republican incumbents this year. It's embarassing that the DFL picked Franken in a state that trends Democrat, a guy who could not ride on Obama's coat tails.
Pure hype--Franken is 11 points back according to reputable polling entities.
FACT: 80% of Franken's fundraising is from out of state because Al lived his life OUTSIDE of Minnesota! He's a so-so comedian with no knowledge of the economy, how to create jobs, or help Minnesotans in any way.
He's paying over $100,000 in fines for not paying for workman's comp & coverage for HIS OWN EMPLOYEES--how well do you think forgetful Al will take care of you??
I hope you threw out this ad when you took out the garbage. The people who are doing Colbert's greenscreen challenge for McCain do a better job of making it look real. And they're working for free.
Pick up after the dog! Mow the yard! Wash my car! Feed the chickens! Milk the cow! Bake me a birthday cake. Give me a pedicure. Vaccuum and cook me some dinner. NOW!
I kinda feel sorry for Coleman. He's going to lose by a landslide.
I guess this ad is targeted at the people who regularly read The Lockhorns cartoons. Isn't a woman pestering her husband to take out the trash HILARIOUS??!! And what's with the creepy Leave it to Beaver music? Let's go back to a time before civil rights!
The fact that Coleman leaves a giant reflection whenever he's near the table and his wife moves her arm over the counter and you see nothing can only mean one of two things. She's either a vampire who must feast on the blood of the still living for sustenance or it's a green screen ad. Those are really the only two plausible explanations. So which one is it? Your move Senator.
That is the most hilariously bad political ad I have ever seen in my life. Stephen Colbert would be proud! (You should probably fire the high school student who did the special effects though.)
The whole thing is laughable and absolutely hysterical they would deny matting the wife in. it really couldn't be more obvious. i hope this one goes wildly viral.

The hair is a dead giveaway that it's NOT green screen. I think even modern green screenings don't cope well things like very loose hair. Furthermore you can see the lights behind her reflecting of/shining through her hair very nicely.
Modern programs do a fantastic job with keying out even blonde hair like this. Look at :22 she would be a TINY person somehow standing through that table. Not to mention the lighting and acting totally give it away in the first place.
It's the glow behind her head. That gentle bending of light. Does keying really incorporate that? I agree that this looks terribly fake, but I have a hard time believing it was actually faked.
Editing: The cut to the close up of homeboy reacting to the wife call then the cut back for his answer is unnatural for this political spot and seems out of place and just too slick for what this is. Leave it to the GOP to much up anything that requires creativity and aesthetic skill. But at least they are doing one thing well...LYING ABOUT IT.
I do special effects... that is definitely green screen. 1- The shots with her in it are the only stationary ones. 2- The last shot of the two of them together is framed REALLY BADLY and looks like a mistake.
Still, I must admit... it's very good green screen.
I work in the industry and I have to say that it is totally absurd that his campaign can in any way say that they were in the same kitchen together for this shoot. Production: The key is clean but the perspective is totally wrong. The lighting between her and the plate are WAY off! It even looks like they shot it on different cameras! The acting: Another dead give away is the fact that she merely turns over her shoulder to acknowledge her husband rather than look at him directly.
The point of origin for her lighting doesn't match the brightness or shadowing between the foreground and background. There should be some light bounce off of her or her clothes onto the shiny countertop. Also looks like she stood in front of a screen because her head "turn" is more consistent with someone who is standing alone in a confined space (not a large kitchen talking to another person) next to a wall.
Norm, You know you are in the public eye, held to ridicules scrutiny.
Don't you think in these times where people are concerned about the environment, global climate change it would have been better to recycle those aluminum cans you just pitched in the garbage? I saw you reading a newspaper but yet no newspaper recycling? I am left with two possible viewpoints. 1 you just don't care. 2 you are in the pockets of the mining and the lumber lobby. I mean, he already moved from NY to MN to get elected, then switched from Democrat to Republican. I can't trust him at all anymore.
