This happened to me and my sister,my first playthrough,still playing,my sisters ummmm 4 or 6 and a half time hehe she thought she messed something on the game up so three million times it seemed like till she thought she got it right but then she ended up with the bad ending so she is like well I ain't doing that again and this would be me ..................(Gaaaaaaaaaaassssssssssp) if that happened to me most likely cause my sister lost the walkthrough and I already beat half the game without
Talk to Jess before you talk to Jess. Jess and soldiers will leave the castle. then talk to Gustav and then you can rest. If skip talking to Jess below the castle, the glitch will happen. Its the way Konami script it. Bleh.
This happened to me whenever I stopped to check out the armor store instead of following directly after Jess (when he's idiotically sending his troops against Neclord) :/
This just happened to me, and I thought I was screwed. It's not caused by not checking the mines for Neclord (that happens just after this bug), and there is nobody to talk to to continue.
It happened to me on a PS2, and after digging out my old barely working PS1, I tried again and got through it normally. Phew...
I remember one time I had done so much in the game as far as the storyline and recruiting a lot of people without saving before this happened -.- You can also run forever into the dark but the camera wont follow you. I know this because I did so for a good amount of time and then it took the same amount of time to come back to the screen. My copy which I had since this game first out broke 2 years ago. I get the craving to replay this all the time.

I think this happpens only when you use epsxe or a program like that. I played Suiko2 twice, first on my playstation, where I didn't get any bug. And then using epsxe. I got the same bug just before fighting Neclord, when you come out of the cavern.

I finish the game 8 times before it happen to me. That was... a bit strange. bug can kill the fun of the game sometimes.

I think this happpens only when you use epsxe or a program like that. I played Suiko2 twice, first on my playstation, where I didn't get any bug. And then using epsxe. I got the same bug just before fighting Neclord, when you come out of the cavern.
