i think i found out why, the planes onboard computers prevent us from making sudden moves, in order to overide the system you need to open the overhead panel and turn of the three onboard computers that assist the pilot while flying. they are found on the left of the overhead panel, hope this helps. after you have turned of the computers the plane behaves somewhat like a fighter jet

yeah what happens is that when you turn in the 737, when u let go of joystick it levels off. but in A321 you have to turn other way to get it back again. it kinda sucks

Joystick is good if your planning on flying the a321. do not fly it with the keyboard. if u don't have experience you will crash on landing. buy a joysticks for fsx!

No wonder I have an easier time using boeing than airbus. I really wondered until today. Everytime I manual fly this thing, it somewhat has a late reaction to my inputs. It really is hard to control this plane. It's like a monster in itself.

Actually, it's a problem on Microsoft's part, in real life, the A321 flies just like a 737-800, Microsoft however had wrong flight dynamics on this aircraft.

I'm back. I think I figured out how to have more control on the A321. The problem for me is when I disengage the autopilot, it remembers my old input when I take off. So, the plane goes up steeply.So, when I'm on autopilot, I use mouse yoke to reset the joystick thing (not the one you buy but the one in the VC). When u disengage it, it becomes more maneuverable. It's still hard to control since the joystick is somewhat harder to move and has weak (but not late rxn) response than the 737 yoke.

I don't think that it is the best thing to fly with, but it's OK. You need either XP or Vista for this. i recommend XP since it'll give you a better framerate.
