  • i lift weight...

  • Haven't heard the song in forever.. Any one else think the guest artist sounds like Royce da 5'9"?

  • @RealCoolFreakinGuy never thought it tell u mkentind it then i lsitend and it do a bit

  • Season 4 of the wire was impeccable

  • The song helps me to survive the game i´m in, My game is not about corners or chrome but the rules are the same. Masta Ace and The Wire made me realice the game and the rules how to play it. There´s no easy way to the top....

    Owe you!

  • Anyone know where the sample "This aint america is it, Where can I be" is from?

  • The Wire remains one of the best TV series of all time. The writing, the underlying social, political and ethical themes, the high-quality acting from a largely unknown cast.. it's television genius. Personally, I think all seasons are amazing, for different reasons.

  • @Pish1989 i hated the last season ,seeing marlo heading back to the streets ,then the season ended. They need a season six

  • @remmy402 hah the wire... idk bout best show but it was ok.. but the season with marlow was the worst one y wud u mention him and not avon.... the first season wit avon was the ligit along with the way they moved they dope.. the season with marlow and those faggot ass kids was terrible

  • @BLAZE69007

It was like the Sopranos. First two seasons were pure dope but than it went down the toilet. I supose that happens to all good things eventually.

  • @BENNYSIEGEL90

yeah, no. season 4 is universally recognized as one of the best tv seasons ever made. season 3 also gets huge props. season 5 is the only season that sort of slips. still better than most anything on television

  • Dans "The Wire"... Quand Dee pense ce faire buter...

  • Still watch the Wire best show ever, Marlow was cold dang! That's wassup gangsta & laid back, nice groove.

  • back in the day cats waz hard & all that jazz. What we got today is poppies acting like they got big paws in the game of claws. Old skool got bones for big dogs raw stuff, today hip hop is soft, my bad 4 that peace.

  • Am about to take this beat and teach you about the agony of defeat in this football game in the street! Hold up the track is mad craizy. Masta has the "ace" to this, you ain't got to bump this please respect it.

  • The game doesn't change, it just gets more fierce.

  • Gettin things done with dangelo and wee bay

  • @Spridium1Jono Season 1 Episode 11, when wee bey takes D'angelo for a ride and D thinks he's gonna get killed

    1 dislikes

  • @impressedbyhisself Probably that rapper that got dissed on Acknowledge.

  • Best Analogy

  • Budda the running back? Bubba (Sparxxx) the running back?

  • one of the best feat. songs ever!

    "Music You Deserve To Hear

  • one the best songs EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This a majorly underrated artist/record. I rank him up there with Gangstarr.

  • one lil wayne fanboy doesnt like

  • Masta Ace live at the Netherlands!

    /watch?v=BAaOykFM78M

  • This nigga is crazy talented - it's a shame he never exploded. Come to think of it, that's probably why he's so good. A lot of the cats sounds awesome back when they were hungry

  • @pacman211 eminem?

  • @hardsword2 lol...yeah, that's who I was thinking of. Also, 50 cent (power of the doller) and Jay-Z (Blueprint)- they all kid of sucked once they made it big

  • this is real hip hop fuck all that little wayne rubbish

  • SiiiCK

  • dis one of my fav rappers right here

  • This sounds like Slim Shady.

  • @ThisIsLoozyWoozy r u high?

  • @zackisbest r u retarded

  • @zackisbest whats wrong with being high? are you a fag?

  • @ThisIsLoozyWoozy Lol it does

  • @ThisIsLoozyWoozy the reason it sounds like slim is because he was influenced by masta ace and liked his style.

  • @ThisIsLoozyWoozy yeah man but only from his infinite album. he pretty much fucked up after that album cuz he sucks now

  • Its so incredible how he was able to Metophorcally explain how it is on the street by comparing it to Football. Man Masta Ace is awosome MC

  • they sound pretty good i just don't like the beat.

  • I just noticed that both of the video responses are pretty crucial songs.

  • Well if someone listened to Masta Ace from the beginning, they'd know what I was talking about as far as flow....I really think he (Masta Ace) picked up Eminem's flow, and a line from the Disposable Arts album "I don't do White music, I don't do Black music I make rap music, for hip hop kids..." is kinda like a salute to Eminem.

  • @TheIntuitionist20 FUCK YOU!! that is all i got to say,,eminem praises masta ace,not other way around,,only internet tools for brain, say other.

  • this song should be on a T rated football game, there would be such a huge contraversy

  • its timelesss. the whole album... i listen to this while it rains... it makes me believe in hiphop!

  • rip hip hop

  • And that's Budda he the fuckin' runnin' back

'Cause he always say he gon' quit, and he always wind up runnin' back

  • I already commented once, but i have to say best new york mc's are 1. rakim. 2. masta ace 3. nas 4. krs-one 5. Jay-z, even though i know jay-z does pop tracks now, look at his flow before like 1996, if he never made it he would have been a true tale because his flow was quick and poignant, unscripted. The other mc's i mentioned still rap unscripted & raw as fuck

  • Can't complain with your list .... they're all from NY

  • fuck dat non phixion yo

  • that fact that kool g. rap isn't on that list bothers me...

  • wha bout -big l, percee p, gangstarr, wu tang and so on

  • @WstCstFllwer This is one of my favorite albums ever... How do u have no Wu Tang? Other than that I cant complain about ur list

  • GZA

  • If you look at the REALITY of the situation, although Masta Ace came out before Eminem and did indeed influence him, he started to sound different after 2000, talking about Masta Ace...back in the day, he sounds nothing like Eminem. But now, you can hear similar cadences and flows...they must've just done a few tracks in the booth together or somethin'...

  • they did 'hellbound' together

  • @jenn1ifer

I see! Eminem went crazy on that one....he could've done the whole track on his own.

  • @TheIntuitionist20 you forget that people grow old and their voices change, masta ace used to sound alot more high pitched, his voice changed way before 2000

  • @TheIntuitionist20 look the point is em himself said masta ace is one of his idols and influences, no other fucking way, if you said this what you said to em`s face he would fuck you up for not giving props to one of his teachers,,anyway when EM was working in a fast food restaurant, and sweeping the floor (ironicaly ACE&EM worked at the same one years inbetween offcourse) he would listen to Music Man and all other from Ace on a walkman and listen to it.He mentionen even on emmy or grammy award.

  • @TheIntuitionist20 NO THEY DIDNT AND STOP SAYING STUPID SHIT ..the only time they were in a booth together was when they had an interview , and eminem admitted masta was his "teacher" he mention it on emmy awards when he had the speech, so please do your homework BOY

  • wtf?! why evrybody talk bout em... he's sick but overrated! nuff said!

  • masta ace should get 5 mics in the source

  • hardddddd

  • this album is definitely one of the best this decade. whole thing is dope.

  • @spideymayne

yes it was a joke intentioned to incite people

  • @spideymayne -- and slept on...

  • @spideymayne I agree. very well crafted

  • @spideymayne

yeah man, u heard "a long hot summer" too

  • lmao. I can't tell if you're kidding or not.

  • i have to admit.

    this is fire

  • king of what? bitch please!

  • why the fuck u side busting i wasnt talking to u. someone said "fuck eminem...cage is the king end of story" so i replied and said "fuck cage..eminem is the king end of story" i was mocking someone. so mutha fuCK u. and eminem is wayyyy better than cage...dont front.

  • i remember when i was 12, i also used to say stupid shit!

  • @jenn1ifer they both can eat a dick

  • dope

  • Masta Ace should be on everyones top 10!!!!!!

  • @arbi90 top 5

  • top 9 1. tupac 2. biggie 3. nas 4. rakim 5. big daddy kane 6. treach (naughty by nature) 7. masta ace 8. eminem 9. lauren hill
  • @jenn1ifer are you putting the masta at 7?? you've got it twisted

  • that was my lists of 10. it wasnt in order.

  • @arbi90 Top five for me : )

  • one of the most talented MC'z ever...

    dam i luv that guy...

    5/5

    support real rap

    PEACE!

  • Listen if people are using EM IN THE SAME CONTEXT, as Ace,it should only be for the pure fact that EM learned from ACE...

  • eminem is waaaay better than ace is every sense. Ace is great with word play but so is em.

  • ye just think Eminem learnt from Ace's style who ever learns from Eminem's style n word play is gunna be suttin incredible

  • Eminem is a funny rapper.. thats why his diss records are good, other than that i think he's a bitch for making songs dissin' his mom and his daughters mother. His older stuff was good like "Till Hell Freezes Over" which he disses ICP

  • how did this get thumbs down

  • @Shadapaga you are one dumb ass stupid motherfucker,,em said himself in a interview on a show that ACE WAS ONE OF HIS TEACHERS you fucking idiot AND ACE IS BETTER ,em listened to ace all the time on his walkman when he was sweeping the floor in wendys.but why would i explain shit to kids who didnt smell the golden era.listen to eminems speech on grammy..oh and eminem remixed the slaughtahouse song,,why would he do that??hmm..BECAUSE HE THINGS MASTA ACE IS FUCKING KING THATS WHY

  • @thcthc Masta Ace will tell you that eminem is better than him. Just because masta ace is older and influenced eminem doesnt make him better. Masta Ace was influenced by rappers worse than him from the early 80s you logic is flawed. I respect what Masta Ace does i wouldnt be listening to him if i didnt love his music but eminem is superior lyrically. Miles Davis was influenced by millions of jazz musicians and he eventuallly dominated them musically. Are you mAsta Aces publisist or something.

  • @Shadapaga ummm..noo masta ace would not tell you that!!!!listen to the interview you idiot,,FROM EMINEMS MOUTH not your geeky ass, but from the man that you say is better ,,but he, himself disagree ..hmm..who should i listen to ..him or you??hahaha..oh and if you say rappers from 80s was worse you have no respect or knowledge on hiphop,oh and btw only 12 year old guys think shady is better.because he has talent and borrowed flow but his lyrcis are childish and immature.

  • @thcthc i dont know why you are so passionate about this argument but the bottom line is masta ace has witty lyrics and good production with great history but his catalog is worse than eminems (Slim shady LP, Marshall Mathers LP, The eminem show) are better than (Slaughtahouse, Disposable Arts, Sittin on Chrome, and A Long hot summer). Eminem lyrics are better.

  • @Shadapaga sureeee...immature childish lyrcis are far better that things that make sense..i already told you ...that you lost and argument because eminem himself destroyed you , oh and about lyrcis ..i can see right through your white bread ass..how come can someone with lyrcis like a 12 year old boy sounds good ,,hmm,,you must be white and immature ,but i dont care.em said he learned all of aces lyrcis by heart ,do you think it is the other way around to?? haha..dont say stupid shit.

  • @Shadapaga you shouldnt even have the right to listen to a a genius like masta ace,,go listen to eminem while he talks shit about lady gaga and other beefs ,.hmm the only thing he is capable,,oh and btw CAGE called he wants his style back.haha.eminem is in trouble.

  • @thcthc masta ace is not a genius hes a rapper. you makes more opinioins than sense your argument is hollow, A wise man told me dont argue with fools because from a distance you cant tell who is who.

  • @Shadapaga i did not say he is a genius rapper although he is..just like Rakim,Epmd,Big Daddy Kane,Salt and peppa ...and all the other great ones (which you said are worse than rappers like em) are GENIUS RAPPERS...and i dont give a fuck about your wiseman ,i just told you da truth ,with which ,every single oldschool knower would agree..ACE IS BETTER THAN EMINEM nothing else pure and simple.

  • @thcthc your argument is based purely on opinoin and weak opinioins at that. And you just disagreed with yourself then agreed with yourself, "i did not say he is a genius rapper although he is".What?!? do you have any reasons for your opinoin or no.

  • @Shadapaga

his "argument", his point if it's that what you're trying to say is based on knowledge because he knows that everyone who listened to Ace once will say the identical thing. -> he is a genius. far ahead of his time.

btw, work on your english bro. makes me wanna puke of this "argument"rape backstage. just like eminem the 8 mile backstage throatly rapper.

  • @Ajehandr0 when you can defend your OPINION with fact and reason then PM me. Please dont rely on my grammer to win the argument because im an ivy league architecture and philosophy student, im well read like sunburn. :?

  • @Ajehandr0 respect.. and WORD! PEACE MY MAN

  • @thcthc

this hit's on you bro *

  • @Ajehandr0 fuck you kiddies bunch of 12 year olds...just ask em who is better and who he bit of when he was sweeping the burger joint...he had his cassette in his player..oh and u ignorant motherfucker..learn some other language pička ti materina opušak jedan.

  • @Shadapaga opinoin?? nice words,,,niceee...oh and IDIOT SHOULD I WRITE SLOWER??? because you sound slow in the head..! I DID NOT HE IS A GENIUS BEFORE ,,your qoute "masta ace is not a genius hes a rapper" ..i never said it until then...AND NOW IM SAYING IT?? do your stupid brain understand? i cant make it more simple. oh and my opinion is based on eminems words MASTA IS KING FOR HIM.so whos opinion should i listen to??hmm..that is my OPINION. not opinoin, i feel sorry for your college.

  • @Shadapaga Eminem is the better emcee, but he definitely doesn't make better albums. In fact, Ace is one of the few rappers I can think of that never put out a bad record.

Another point: there is more substance and depth on Ace's albums than any of Eminem's.

  • @spideymayne i kind of agree with you, i think it is crazy that masta ace never put out a bad album and i think eminem has maybe 3-4 great albums and alot of trash music. I dont really agree with you on substance and depth but i think the fact that he has been making music since before the 90s gives his work a sense of timelessness. I think masta ace is sometimes too average on albums but his body of work is impressive.

  • I feel that

  • sick song. i love the disposable arts album. this song was also on the show The Wire.

  • man this beat is sooo damn hot, true talk right here

lil fagwayne if u read this, take him as a good expample you fucking faggot, if not, put your gun in your mouth and do us all a favour

  • i dont understand this comparing between masta ace and eminem, both are one of my all time favourites.

are you guys just that much of a hater that you cant like both of them?

i dont get it, both are lyrically genious

eminem has a sicker flow though.

  • sounds like wu-tang beat....

    sick track

  • this song is SICK! hes at eminems level

  • HE IS AT EMINEMS LEVEL ??? YOU YOUNG ASS BITCH..im sorry but there is no other way to say this ,,YOU DONT HAVE A CLUE ABOUT RAP MUSIC go listen to jonas brothers ,ace is doin his shit since 89 and hi is like a ROLE MODEL for EM even EM said it himself in a interview,oh and btw EM is nowhere close on ace`s level...he can lick ace`s balls.

  • ur fuckin stupid. i never said eminem is better than masta ace. i said there both on a higher level than 90% of rappers. dont put words in my mouth bitch. go litsen to lil wayne lolipop. ur gay

  • on every masta ace song on youtube people are comparing him to eminem

QUIT you cant compare a fuckin mascot to a LEGEND thatss all em is a mascot for DRE, dre made him, N look masta ace STILL hasnt sold out over 20 years in the game waiting for his break wich is looooooong over due

  • Its true but everyone loves to compare every "Underground" (retarded term) rapper to Em. Kinda fuckin irritatin

  • WORD! peace from slovenia.

  • Word

  • Masta Ace was out, years before Em but thats how hip hop should be!

  • These niggas always been sick!

  • Masta Ace is the best MC... He and Rakim...

    Peace from Greece

  • this song is so clever

  • I don't necessarily like Hip-hop, this song is ok. But DISTURBED? ROFL please, kid. Culture yourself, you listen to terrible music.

  • damn this whole song is one big metaphore tightest shit i evr herd

  • fuck em

tech n ace is where its at

  • ace is the reason eminem wanted to rap....

  • did this guy start before eminem ?

  • yes...

  • ahah uhhh yeaa for sure

    long before em

  • oh only about a decade before eminem...thats all

  • i did that like 2 months ago. havent heard anything else about it . it would be cool smoke weed legally though

  • Of course he started way long before Em !!! He was in 'The Juice Crew' in the late 80's with Big Daddy Kane, Biz Markie, Roxanne Shanté, MC Shan, Kool G Rap,... His first solo album was released in 1990 ! At that time Eminem was just a young teenager listening to rap music...

  • u can really see how eminem took his style in this track

  • This has always been my favorite joint off Disposable arts. That beat is nuts.

  • Hellbound - Eminem ft Masta Ace...

    yea, just listen to that

  • masta ace is the best when your blazing with nice sub woofers

  • Strick is dope. Where can i hear more of his solo stuff?

  • Masta Ace is more on some better ur life shit, Eminem is usually on some Fuck ur life shit.

  • haha, lol never thought of that homie. It's mad true though. It makes perfect sense. Eminem has to be one of the most rebellious rappers out there (excluding peeps on the radio now). Em rejects everything. Masta Ace is a teacher. Masta Ace is oL sKool and loves to inspire. I lost interest in Eminem when his second album dropped. The Freestyle Wake Up Show Eminem was always the best. Slim Shady need a comeback, FORGET Marshall!

  • hellz yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i have to say i like both. i think my top 5 are eminem, immortal techniqe, andre nickatina, masta ace, and tupac. (no order) both eminem and masta have great lyrics and put thought in there songs unlike lil wayne and that

  • Nickatina n Immortal Techniqe never make anyone's top list of rappers. I gotta respect ur top rappers list, n i never do that. Except eminem he weak to me nowadays.

  • dude u have to like alot of his songs though. i like crack a bottle, hailies song is probably my fav by him, i mean his old stuff like marshall mathers lp and encore, curtain call, etc is pretty good.

  • wtf? encore and curtian call were good? hahahaha wtf were you listening to

  • and do u even know em stole aces style and ace was his huge fucking influence plus that em was swiming in his daddies balls when ace was doin˙it

  • i like em both yo i mean we aint gotta argue about who is better..

  • yeah we wont ,beacuse like masta ace said " A STUDENT CANT FUCK WITH A TEACHER"if you get where i`m going

  • ye i know ace was a huge influence for em, but I wouldnt say em ripped his style...Ace has a way of presenting what he wants with clever wordplay and lack of swearing, em just brings the fire to the track and says what it is, and i like both of em

  • no a student can fuck with the teacher, its just very rare

  • the most underated rapper of all time

  • Someone that has the beat/instrumental?

big thanks to the one that sends me it :)

  • This is mad dope by the way.

  • I think that Em was nicer as an emcee in the late 90's but he sold out.Ace has always kept it for real. For that reason alone I like Ace better.
