Amazing mix and great voice! Only criticism I have is the addition of the last note and crescendo at the end was unnecessary. It sounded great, but it changed the song. I always like the way it ends "short".

You are also excellent in mastering/mixing all the parts. And the reverb is also wonderful, it creates the perfect ambience for this song.
When I saw "American Beauty" about 10 years ago, I was blown away by Elliot Smith's multitrack version, featured during the end credits of the film. He sang the first half of the song a cappella.
The recording from "Across the Universe" is wonderful, but I admire your version even more than that one or Elliot Smith's because you did the entire song a cappella by YOURSELF!
Your "strings" vocalizations at 0:36 and 1:20 are amazing! Great work, Kohl. 5*
