@CVFRFirefighter448 The fact is, the house being on fire with no-one inside was safer than the explosion from the garage which could have easily killed or seriously injured the firefighters

That hose line ain't gonna get it. BIG fire=BIG water. And put the water on the base of the fire not the flames.

@wfd6912 they didn't open it because if they did they would add more oxygen to the fire in-turn making the fire grow much more rapidly.
