  • what are the setting u have to put to start it?

im trying to start up mine in chicago and in sum places theres at least 3 and a half feet of snow haha, so basicaly i really need to start this thing up.

mine has been sitting in my shed for about 7 monthes and even with the eletric start its not starting up.

  • @jim777my6, i set my thtrottle to full, choke it fully, and if your snowthrower has a primer, i prime it at lease 4 to 6 times, and it starts up with no problem

  • daymn... only 3 hours on that engine???? look like it never set outside in the metal shed with a muddy floor or anything

  • piece of shit tecumseh but what the hell, it runs :)

  • LoL yea it is... wish it was a briggs engine, i got another snowthrower and it has a tecumseh engine... 1985 model... it surges high and low... runs alright but it's a shitty tecumseh... gonna try to post it soon

  • hey hey hey lol tecumseh is good it's not the best but it's friggin good we got one and in the winter time it starts up 1-3 pulls in the WINTER so there good but you gotta take good care of it and as long you do that i'l run for ever :) (it's a lawn mower not a snow blow lol)

  • then why is the tecumseh on my minibike a pos?

  • whats a pos (i forgot)?

  • oh wait Piece Of Shit right?

  • ya. piece of shit

  • well you know what they say "theres a lemon in every series and theres a perfect in every series maybe you got the lemon and i got the perfect lol

  • mmhmmm

  • lol

  • wow dude nice! great condition and 3 hours! :0 thats unbelievable!! nice machine!

  • yep... still has the original oil in it.... not going to drain it until it hits the 5 hours mark for the 1st break in oil change, and the driveway is gravel.... i raise it about an inch from the driveway so it won't pick up rocks as it does the damage to the impeller....prime at least 15 times in the cold snowy day and it fires right up with no problem, but what i cannot understand is.... these snowthrowers don't even have air filters..... very wierd

  • wow lol! yeah i would change it soon, mainly from sitting. but should be fine. yeah! primers are allways nice lol! and yeah.. snowblowers tend not to have airfilters.. i think its because maybe theres not that much dust in winter or something lol! idk! but Thanks for posting it for me man! mine needs a spring for the carb.. it idles up and down. so im pretty sure thats what it needs.
