  • Puck him.

  • or a labour strike

  • Peter Puck rocks!

  • We had a Peter Puck suit at our rink in Kapuskasing. The guy wearing it and the guys in the announcer's booth used to throw sno-balls and rain-blow gum at us.

  • NBC Sports gave out promotional decals of Peter Puck that first year on TV. That original decal now resides inside the front cover of my Jim Proudfoot Pro Hockey 1974-75!!! Why...because Bernie Parent is on the cover!!!

  • Peter Puck aired in the U.S on CBS-TV on Sunday afternoons between periods of the game in the late 60's (?) and/or early 70's.

  • The voice of Peter Puck is Ronnie Shell.

  • Peter was my source for my hockey report in Junior High School many years ago. Thanks Pete, you were a great source of information and I was able to get an A out of the class. LOL

  • I had a good talk once with Brian Mcfarlane about Peter puck. Brian was really great to talk with. Peter Puck brings back super memories

  • Best game in the world.

  • He never really caught on in the lower United States area called the Sun Belt, at least not in his early days. With a good number of franchises playing there now, that's changed.

  • hes no idol they only created him to entertain americans who didnt know shit about hockey

  • and you were only created because your mother forgot to take her pill that morning...too bad.

  • Classic.

  • Everything I learned about hockey was from Peter Puck. I'd walk in on my brothers for intermissions just to watch him.... Wish I could see more of these.

  • I'm guessing that's Casey Kasem voicing Peter?

  • Ronnie Schell was the voice of Peter Puck.

Known mostly as a guest actor on many tv series, you will say "oh that guy" as soon as you see his face.

  • Casey Kasem??????

    From 101 CBS FM?

  • You can now get Peter Puck on DVD...there are 9 shorts in all!

  • THAT'S IT?!?!?!?!

A guy like Peter Puck should've done more than 9 shorts!

  • That's all he did during the 1970s...9 shorts!

  • I read that Peter actually got marriage proposals. I can see why! He's very appealing!

  • God does this bring back some great memories. My Habs were great and Howie Meeker did his intermission analysis..........

  • This guy is my childhood. I could never tire seeing him. Thanks for the post!

  • Thanks! I'd like to see more from Peter.

  • Hey - Peter Puck is coming back. If you are on Facebook - check out and join the Peter Puck Fan Club. New TV stuff will be a little while - but some great new vintage apparel has been launched. Cheers.
