@RayAir1 It my be "normal" to have a mom and a dad in the sense that is what is most common, but every study that has been done shows gay & lesbian parents do just as good of a job as straight parent. In fact us rug munchers on average do a better job raising kids then straight couples, thats not surprising since women tend to get more involved then men in the raising of children. My moms just got divorced after being together for 12 years. It was probably the single most aweful experience of my life. Some people think that its not as painful as it would be if my parents were straight but I had a very nice, loving family and now its all gone.

I think this little girl lives in California, so they must both be her legal dads. You know, the nonbiological dad typically adopts. So they both have legal rights in case the couple breaks up or the bio-dad dies or something. Of course this isn't available in all states, so that's why I think working for equal LGBT rights is so important. I also have two dads. My other dad adopted me and my little brothers but kids in other states may not have that opportunity.
