The musicianship in this band is extremely good. Having heard every song on the album, I've found that there's very few wasted notes. Musically they're almost flawless. CoB does NOT have this kind of musical accuracy. Period.

Therefore this band is by definition better than CoB, vocals notwithstanding. That being said, vocals are all about preference. I prefer these vocals to CoB, therefore, I like this band better than CoB.

Its pretty sad imperanon was disbanded after this album, their music is amazing. people are senseless when they compare COD with Imperanon (Or compare other bands) . You can't compare Imperanon with COD becaus their songs, music and playstyle are totally different. Children of bodom is nearly as good as imperanon.

There'd be a ton of genres if every band was able to make a new genre for themselves, there are already quite a few in metal, more than enough to classify the each metal band accordingly, and to allow each band to create a new genre it would get absurd, Winter Metal, Battle Metal, Disco Metal... it would be endless.
