the cars stock motor is not able to produce 477 FWHP maybe the engine might but not to the ground, but i doubt the engine can handle that much hp, i think your girlfriends brother might be pulling your leg. I am a cobalt owner myself so Im not a hater it is just I know the cars limits
@alanrstepp1 yes they can look at 1000hp civics.....usually smaller the engine the more it will cost to upgrade to get to a higher hp unlike v8s which is just better anways....my truck would some any civic or cobalt any day

Total unreliability, enjoy the constant repairs. My Pontiac has over 100k miles and has only ever needed a fuel pump, and spark plugs, THATS IT. No leaks, not problems, pure reliability. Again, enjoy the Ford.

When rating HP to the ground, a manual loses 11% on a FWD car and 18% with a automatic. That is 131.72hp to the wheels for the manual. That is 121.36 for the automatic. The 10 hp difference is NOT going to make it's 0-60 over 1.4 seconds slower, sorry.
The Cobalt LS 2 door with a manual stock is 0-60 in 7.87 seconds. So basically you are a tenth of a second faster than the manual. The automatic stock has a 0-60 in about 8.3 seconds. You knocked off a little over a half second! Good job! Get a header and look at Clear Image Automotive Tuning for a reflash of your ECU for another 10hp and it removes the limiter.
