I think that sound only plays when you press start (or another button) to begin the game. In this video, the controller is left idle so only the intro demo plays.

@AngryBF2Nerd Yeah I think but only when you pressed start. Although I seem to remember some of the arcade cabs played the "Vroom" during the attract mode too.
