  • could you use a havoc cyclone for one of these?

  • I have reason to believe all these "gyros" are not gyros at all. The rotor blade that is turned up, rotates clockwise, going forward: no lift. What we have here is prop wash being deflected downward by the wide rotors, driving the plane up. One rotor blade is up, the other neutral, causing rotation and also noticeable wobble.

  • fantastic effort.

  • hello mr.my name is sergio from mexico CONGRATULATIONs this is a wonderfull and pretty job, i really want to build my owns autogyro, but i have several question about the rc system design could you helpto please

  • Hi,Sergio.What is the question?

  • genius

  • do the blades pitch forward?

  • nice!! can you tell me how to make autogyro

  • OMG manhacks.

So this works with magnets, and a motor for the propeller?

  • Magnetic actuator for rudder.

    4mm pager motor for propeller.

  • inspired by your vid, i just made one from the guts of an airhogs stingray stunt crap flyer, works ok i guess

  • annoyingly i want to get one of these but the last rc flying thing i was alowwed to get i got today so wont get to buy one of these that really sucks

  • What type of controls did you use for the tail?

  • Proportional controlled homemade magnetic actuator.

  • great video, by the way i've tried with larger model autogyros but are there any main adjustments to the main rotor for smaller models.

  • These are the averages of my micro autogyros.

    Blades pitch: 5 degree.

    Thrustline-rotor angle: 25 degree.

Thrust is more than 70% of AUW.

    Wide and flexible rotor blade.

Check out this thread on RCGroups.

  • sweet ! just have 2 questions: how much did it cost and does the motor only provides the rotation for the front rotor ?

    ty for that vid !

  • The cost is about 50 to 100 us$ I guess, depends on what

    equipments you use.

The rotor rotates freely because it is an autogyro not helicopter.

    For more info.

  • Cool i want to try and build one too!

  • Have you a website or bloog for the plan of that

    autogyr ? ^^

  • I don't have website or blog.

But the pictures in this video and the spec I wrote in this page

have more information than the plan.

If you try to build one, make a prototype first.

No need rudder control.Only motor control is enough.

Learn autorotation with it.that is the fastest way to success.

And that is the way I'm doing everytime.

    Enjoy. Thanks
