5 years ago when I started playing the drums at age 13 I decided to search for the best drummers I could find and learn from them. I noticed several different drummers recieving respect and admiration for their playing. Some for their speed, some for their tricks. Of all of them, It was only session musicians that seemed to recieve praise for reasons beyond my uneducated but curious mind. It is only now, after 5 years of study and observance, that I can say that they knew what they were doing.
