I think the greatest news may be that China has cut-off some type of Upper Diplomatic ties with North Korea over their latest irrational behavior. So hopefully China will encourage them towards peace and non-proliferation.

I just don't want China to use NK as a bargaining chip in terms of discussions with the US in regards to trade and business dealings.. NK should not be used to promote policies which benefit only China.

Yes NK is not a serious threat in and of themselves. However, as Secretary of Defense mentioned, it is the proliferation and sale of these nuclear devices to radical fringe groups, which could cause problems throughout the world.. So unless NK is made to act responsibly, they are a threat to the entire world, and not just America. If they sell these items on the Black Market, and the items are used to create terror against humanity, that will be unacceptable. That can't be allowed

This is very true, But North Korean artillery is set aside to bombard Seoul. There is no need for a long range missile. However, the North Koreans can co-develop long range missiles with Iran and its South American allies, and share the technical data and hardware in exchange for foreign currency, as they did for $2-billion (allegedly) from Iran, to provide a nuclear plant and technical expertise to Syria.
