Um unless your wearing a parachute i thin its safer to drive a car then to take a plane. When a plane crashes your most likely screwed but if your in a car & you get into an accident.. most likely its a minor one. Unless you or the other driver is drunk.

Happenes n average 7000 times a year. I was shocked to hear that figure on the news but it goes to show that birdstrikes are fairly common and planes are built to take it. There are only so many engine you can put on a plane and only so far you can go to ensure safety without, like you said EHZay, walk or swim to your destination. LOL!
In my playlist "Planes and Flying Contraptions", I have some bird strike vids. Rarely does a double bird strike occur.
