  • my jammmm...check out my video I retired from overseas basketball coaching asap

  • Tony was one of the most underated drummers in the business, this cat had mad groove.

I loved these guys, and have every album "Yes wax" R.I.P. Bernard, and Tony

  • Tony Thompson (of CHIC) was involved and had record sessions with the reunited Led Zeppelin in 1985.

He could have been the new drummer of Led Zeppelin.

Unfortunately, ha had a car accident and the project of a new Led Zeppelin LP failed.

  • Great disco and dance drummer..i was growing on house usic so i understand in rithm and Tony is just the best!!!

  • rebels are we

  • Now this is a funky ass jam. I think I have the album and didnt know that has such a jam.

  • i love chic...but they did steal a funkadelic riff at the end of this song. it's ok because there's only a million songs that other artists copied from chic. tony and bernard r.i.p

  • I agree, what a nice surprise to discover these " minor " tracks, thanks,

  • How much am I willing to bet that this is the theme song for the John Adams Rebels in Cleveland, OH LOL

  • I remember this not being too well reviewed at the time -- too self-consciously 'moderne', perhaps -- but it sounds incredible today, and full of those little flourishes and melodic twists that made Chic so special. Even a lesser Chic track is head and shoulders above most of what passes for R&B these days! Thank you for posting...

  • 30 years later we listen and we enjoy to "minor" hits of CHIC. I'm OK with you, I don't think in 30 yers we will still listen to modern R'n'B hits !

  • Calling them a disco group is almost insulting. They made really good dancing music, but IT'S ALL GOOD !!!!!! Hey Frenchiic, keep em coming. You know what time it is.

  • One of the greatest disco group of all-time!

  • Super song!!!

  • believe it or not this chic record signaled the end of disco. the music was shifting r&B, house music was in its early stages, funk chic sadly was officially dead with disco

  • Could you please post Real People. This was funky but my heart belongs to the title cut. Thanks and may God Bless you Frenchic

  • Thank's.

Good idea. I'm gonna post "Real people" soon.

  • this is awesomeeeeee!!!! can i do a request too??? i would LOVE to see here on youtube "city lights" !!!!! I really like that song!

  • Another tight jam from a group that were the epitome of funk with style, and class, a supreme group!!

  • I used to BACKWARD skate to this!!!

  • Thank you for this track from 1980! A good year for Chic.

  • I used to jam this!!

  • Oh and good video.

  • Another one of my favourites and a bit of a change for them, a bit more rockier.

I was a bit surprised when this first came out but soon settled down into their new sound.

  • Another great CHIC track - Thanks Frenchiic! xx,
