To all the people writing that this is dumb, and that the gun doesn't shoot anything: Since you obviously don't know anything about how a gun operates, I'll clue you in. The end of the brush operates as a firing pin and the rubber band operates as a recoil spring. You pull the brush back, creating tension in the rubber band. When you let go that tension is released and the pushes the makeshift firing pin into the back of the bullet, which ignites the primer which fires the bullet.

Thats why its taped heavily at one end to prevent it from being launched out through the tube. But either way, you're right about not having a need for a firing pin because no round can be securely placed into the marker to begin with. Or be held in place with any degree of safety to ensure it doesn't fire at an angle if the brush actually worked as a firingpin
