I just had an endoscopy to make sure my ulcers were healed. They sedate you, so it doesn't hurt, and it's very quick, 15 minutes. You probably won't even remember the procedure. If there's a problem, they can zap it right then. The only side effect is a mild sore throat, and tiredness.
