  • hey thedaftman i also live in the uk and was just wandering where you buy also your circuit components from?

Also, how quickly can you charge a 12v battery from flat to full charge??

  • Mr daftman please tell us where can we download circuit diagram for that pulse motor. i know you let us download the other bedini circuit but i wanna make a bedini pulse like this one.

    thanks

  • This machine will not power itself ever. It is a delusion to try it. scooterscottii, A job not worth doing, is not worth doing well. I am helping you more than a thousand overunity sites will ever do. If you value knowledge more than belief, write me direct. Newman is a known fraud.

  • a good kind of daft...I am building a newman ... the question is..are the top and the bottom coils wound in the same direction then? I am confused because there is some conflicting info around! Any info would be greatly appreciated, I KNOW you are busy! Scott :O)

  • very well explained. Thanks..

  • woah, this is some inverter circuit. i wish i could make one like this.

    this is so awesome.

  • Mr. Dafman, The motor base is ok to use steel metal instead wood base? Thank You

  • Only if you use none phosphorus metals. If you use lets say ion the magnets with be attracted to it (cogging) in this set up thats exactly what I was trying to avoid.

  • Mr. Dafman, in this work, did you use neodymium magnets? my next work, i am going to make another rotor with neodymium magnets!

    thanks. jorge

  • i used neodymium magnets

    please see

( Generator Pulse Motor type 2 (Update Magnet orientation)

in that video you will see the Magnet set up in the video.

  • is it normal that this kind of motors, the consuption of energy is high? i am going to make a test with a mechanical swiching to see what happen with the power imput.

  • Please let me know your results.

  • dafman, what is the input power? and what is the output power? i am building a window motor, do you have some suggention?

    saludos.

  • If I remember it goes:

    Input 12 v 0.800 m amp

    Output 35v 0.156 m amp

The entire test I have carryout up to date the Newman comes out on top.

Sorry I cannot do any tests on this one now has it has been dismantled.

  • farout Daft man keep up the good fun eh!

  • wow , how many rpms does it produce

  • about 5000 rpm

  • I build bedini fan and made rotor a 5000 range the same you did. I had the same effect but it was with a cap the continue to charge on my circuit and off the circuit to 0v to 7.3 volt. Working on some anti-gravity effect you should check the coil i made jump shoot a cap though it. That motor of your is powerful one made should try filling up a 100uf at least 250v as quickly. You will see it jump and try to make a motor spin at 20,000 rpm so discharge the cap at .01 sec

  • How many guys here have received a little "telling off" from their wife or girl friend for spending far too much time in the garden shed, playing around with motors?

And please dont look at me like that... its just a general question thats all!

So then... Guilty or not guilty?

    :-D Ha ha ha

  • yeh i get told of by my girlfriend all the time for spending too much time on youtube WHATCHING these videos..

  • Yes... you have 415 videos favorited in your youtube account. Thats a lot! Fascinating watching though, isn't it. :-)

Don't worry about spending too much time watching, as I have noticed that "those who complain" also spend an equal amount of time watching TV... it makes me want to do an impression of Lieutenant Columbo (where he scratches his head and looks totally confused whist trying to figure out the difference between Youtube and TV-Tube!

Anyone else here want to make a confession?

  • Pretty neat! You get wickled RPM's from that.

You mention it's not over unity but you also mentioned that you can charge a 24V battery before the supply battery is drained. If some of the supply is being used to power the motor and you have enough left to charge a 24V battery as well before the supply battery is drained, wouldnt that be over unity? Regardless of what it is, it a great way to build a motor, It makes you wonder why manufacturers havent been doing it for years

    Thanks for sharing!

  • i cosntruct a newman motor and i would like to know how do you construct the circuit of the motor. it`s a good work.

    best regards

  • Hi Daftman, I went to the teep forum and tried to sign up but was unsucessful. I'll try it another time. It looks like a great place to exchange views on these energy ideas. I actually got envolved with this because the solar panel broke on my sailboat last year and one thing led to another. Now I'm building pulse motors.--Rusty

  • Looks like you are all sorted on the forum, please let me know if you still have any problems.

  • one other quick question... do you have an earth connection anywhere in your circuits?

  • Hi sceptic33, no earth connection anywhere.

  • nice work as usual...will check out your forum...how large a battery in terms of amphours was the 24V you mentioned compared to the 12V that charged it? ... what do you make of my attempt at including a voltage doubler on my output coil? am not too sure if it's working as planned...would appreciate input from anyone in the know...

  • Well nice work, voltage doubler maybe the way to go I'm considering it my self after watching vid's on youtube maybe the vid's was yours. In short terms you must remember that the currant is limited by the output of your coils. So you will get more voltage but maybe lower currant depending on the circuit you use. I will post some diagrams or links on the forum that maybe of interest.

  • See forum for links to Voltage Doubler diagrams. The link is under Technical help and Questions.

    Voltage Doubler,Tripler,Quadrupler links.

The 24 volt battery pack was only ½ the amp hour of the source 12 volt battery.

  • Another great video!! This the first time that I have heard anyone campare this to a flourscent tube ballast. What kind of little bulbs are you using? Led,neon, or filament? On my set up I have been using a neon --doesn't give off much light. Can we use a flourscent bulb? Also I have read that the "window motor" version of the Bedini has more torque than the spinning wheel type which is better for driving a generator. What do you think? Thanks, Rusty

  • Hi Rusty. Comment fluorescent tube ballast was only a near comparison, simple ballast uses similar component & layout. Different but does behave in a similar way. I'm now going to forget driving something with a motor. I'm going to design from scratch. Although I have some tests I need to complete before moving on. I will be moving questions & answers to the forum soon, as the 500 word limit makes my replies to short & makes me feel & look a pratt.

  • Well Rusty. I'm not looking to drive anything yet but 1 would need more work to run a tube direct but it will light up one end. I use filament in this video. The test on my window motor was very good but not anywhere near the power of the motor in this video also the one in this video requires a good flywheel.

  • Thanks for the quick reply. Which forum will you be using? I think that there are lots of other "tinkers" like me that respect your knowledge on this subject and are learning from you. My favorite quote is: "Learn from others mistakes because you will not live long enough to make them all youself." It hung on the wall of my 7th grade drafting class.---Rusty

  • teep()forumco()com

The link is at the side of the video on this page. It's new so not much on it. I have tried to set it up simple for All to Use and Enjoy. With no gimmicky front page.

  • You try to do self-runner?

  • Not yet as there isn't enough output yet but that is my goal.

  • It need to give more output than input right?

  • Not quite that straight forward for me, I'm looking to run without batteries.

Braking even will do. I know it's not possible. The only thing keeping me going on this is all u youtube'rs & when I was about 12 I did have 1 running for days. But then I got in to college and began to understand by the teachings it wasn't possible and I never revisited the subject until now. All I can say let's see.

  • How did you setup the cimmutator for this one? I am not able to see that part in this video. I am curious to see this as this seems to have overcome the mechanical limitations of other types of mechanical shaft commutation we have seen on other videos.

  • The motor is triggered by the coils and a transistor switch so no need for any connections to the shaft.

The circuit works just like a Bedini pulse motor.

This motor is basically a Newman motor without any shaft connections, then run on a Bedini circuit.

Hope that helps. If not please ask.

  • I appreciate the idea with the brass nails... I look forward to all of your videos as you put what you do in plain English. I also have some neos that I would like to mount to a rotor as you have I am always scared at the RPMS too :) I have had to balance the motor and I use foam to help kill the vibration like carpet padding. It works great. Cheerio old chap!

  • Mr. Daftman. Very much appreciate your posts. Your humor amd innovations to this area are refreshing. You are not just tweaking a cicuit to get it to perform better; you're taking the whole thing apart to make something work. I agree that this is not "over-unity" technology. But at least we're all learning a bit, right? BTW, if you still want 50 lb, I'll send it. More than I have in this so far. Carry on smartly sir!
