Tomb Raider: Underworld Relics Walkthrough #1/6

This game is awesome. Played TR since PS1 and this game is on Par. Yes a little too easy and yes a little short but the levels and puzzles were really well done. I like the darker approach in the game and revealing her past over three games was a nice idea. People are complaining about certain aspects of the game and this and that. I am reasured [and i'm sure the people as well] that it isn't another 'Angel Of Darkness' because that stank stickawiff.

the controls on this were good, I do like the game but It was way too easy to finish and not enough action, I would like to see a snow level like the 1st game, some mansion roaming like the 3rd, another vehicle like a quad bike, jeap, drivable boat, jet ski and more animal life along with a at least challenging puzzles throughout.

I'll end this arguement on tomb raider by saying if you're a real tomb raider fan its not about the graphics its the game ive been playing them since the ps1 and enjoyed them all underworld is a good game but to short my all time favorite is tomb raider 2 on ps1 and i still could play that game now and not even worry about the graphics........peace

Tomb Raider Underworld is great. Try it on PS3. And it is so not too hard. It's challenging but not that hard! And also, it's so not long. I was only in the beginning and I stopped playing, but then I set y mind to it and played for 2 days and finished it...

REASON: Only in the 360 version can you get DLC's (free to download) for 2 new wetsutis game addon pack. another DLC game addon pack for 2 custom Designer Outfits. and another DLC for her classic outfit,and all her outfits from Legend.

and other game addon DLCS for extra levels. PS3 has only 1 outfit.cos these dlc's are Microsoftg exclusive. so NO. definetly get the 360 one dude

Er.. I am so against what you just said. Good point and all.. sure you have add ons and things for xbox but the basis of your remark itself is so wrong. Xbox 360 overall is so unreliable.. I mean.. if you take an xbox and a ps3.. an xbox under the same conditions as the ps3 will break or get a virus or something of that sort a lot quicker and alot more often than the ps3.

PS3 may not have the same range of games and things but thats cuz its fairly new. It is a lot better than the Xbox...

I have a 360 and PS3 and prefer the 360. Sure it might get the RROD but I can get that replaced with a months free membership, it has better exclusives, better online support and capabilities and doesn't charge me out the ass for a piece of shit console and then release a slimline version cheaper.

You're wrong: I do know, and that's because I've been playing since TR1. Underworld doesn't even qualify as TR in my book. Unless, of course, your idea of TR is roaming around empty corridors breaking jars and solving obvious puzzles at a glance. I can name dozens of levels from past games that have more traps in them than this whole game. TR used to be a challenging game. Keywords here are 'used to'.

Having said that, you sure are entitled to your own opinion just like I'm entitled to mine.

legend had much more reponsive and less bugy controls and on its time, the graphics where awesome

I agree, Underworld seems very different. Not that I've played the classic Tomb Raider games a lot, but I can for instance see the difference between Legend and Underworld. A lot less traps! At one point in Legend I died constantly XD. But I don't think Underworld has become an easy game. As far as I can see, it's pretty hard to figure out where you're supposed to go and how to get there. Before it was pretty straightforward. From that point of view it's gotten way more realistic.

@1araCr0ft im tomb raider fan but i never played trs first ones cuz i couldnt stand the graphics and hard to move the chars but i reconize they had harder puzzles cause my boyfriend played all of them and showed me some

underworld is the easiest of the next gen tr...

still i liked it but it was a bit boring.. i mean,....needed more action...and more puzzles that were really cool... D:

@1araCr0ft oh yes... and I miss so much these games. I remember the traps and the increadible quantity of different items (and most of them I wondered where it was supposed to be used) this game had in the firsts games. It was very challenging...

But my guess is yes, you can. Otherwise what would be the point?

Yes you will get the achievements for treasure hunt, but you cant Load up a game or you wont get the achievement =(

I searched on the left side of the room because there's some ledges there on a pillar but couldn't find a direct way to the higher platforms. I guess you'll have to use the long way.

I'd really like to know how do you get that hardest difficulty achievement on the 360 version, I completed it today on it's hardest setting and didn't get it.

I believe all you have to do to get the master survivalist achievement (100 points I think?) is to start and complete a game in that difficulty level. But I've played it on PC so... my advice is you should ask someone that played the game on the xbox360. I would love to help you out but really can't... :(

No. 'Master survivalist' is what you called hard. It's the hardest difficulty setting. At least on PC it has that name... :) Sorry if I puzzled you.

No no no, It's the name of the achievement, but it's also what some sites have said, I found the settings had been messed around with at one point, but I didn't know that it had saved. I played 99.9% of the game on it's hardest settings.

How do you get up to the top where you started in the first place? I can't remember. I was trying today, but the I couldn't get to the higest platforms.

You can only access the highest platforms by going through the main door and into the area where the gaunglet is/was. To leave that area you take a different route that leads to the said platforms.
