UGA was the first state-chartered university in the US, not UNC.

Why do people get it wrong everytime, it's not the oldest state university in the US, the University of Georgia's the oldest, but only by a couple years.

@esca8652 The University of North Carolina is the only public university to award degrees in the 18th century. Hence, oldest.

As a UNC alum, I miss campus so much but this video doesn't do it much justice. Not sure if this is meant to be a promotional tool for the university, but the presenter is dull and the presentation is dated. We are a proud Tar Heel Nation and I don't think this video encompasses that feeling.
