@mkayreagan I know what you mean about cold..we have about four feet of snow here in DC..if you get a moment, check out my RMS page, screenname is DavidB
Wow, that looks incredible. I just purchased a home with a brick wall and fireplace. I am thinking of putting in a mantel and hanging a flat panel TV over it, but I don't know how to mount something so heavy onto brick. Any tips?
Nah I don't like Projection, it's cool looking but not for gaming and concentration, like what a Sniper needs. I play on a HP w2448hc Full HD Monitor hooked up with my PC, check it out on my Channel.
@strathpol I don't know where you get your info from ? But you are wrong about burn in on lcd's. I haven't read any thing about burn in on a lcd. Please share where you learned this from.
My last TV for a start. Philips Pixel Plus LCD TV got burn in. After long hours of playing the PS3. I would turn the ps3 off and everything was still visible on the screen, radar, ammo counter, etc. It would disapear after 30 minutes or so. But it's still a type of burn in. This is common knowledge. Where do you get your information from? Wikipedia?
Is this house in florida? All Fl builders love the wall niches---they are too deep and it is difficult to figure out how to decorate the deep niches.

Thanks, David! Right now, with the cold here in FL, we wish the DVD threw off some heat!

Two words. Screen Burn! (excuse the expression, if you will)

Wrong. Just as no one has a fire going in their fireplace 24/7, the DVD is not always on. Mostly used for evening entertaining, in the cooler months.

I was being a bit light hearted, I very much agree.

MrByronwilson; That's correct, I had a plasma screen in mind, sorry I didn't make that clear on my initial post.
