Out of Sight was the last song before the 'Funk Era' ushered in by 'Papa's Got A Brand New Bag.' This live performance on the TAMI was probably his finest TV moment as an entertainer.
MY BAD! It was T.A.M.I But he did do quite a few appearances on Shindig, as well as Ed Sullivan and American Bandstand. He was hot property for the networks!!!
Please forgive me, for correcting you, because I hate when someone corrects me. but actually, this clip is from a movie that came out in the mid-sixties entitled The TAMI Show. It was a concert, that had The Supremes, Smokey Robinson and The Miracles, Marvin Gaye (That's another highlight of the movie!!!), Jan & Dean, Lesley Gore, Chuck Berry, The Rolling Stones, and a few more. James Brown is the highlight, no doubt! If you can find this movie (It's hard to find), check it out!
Damn!!! James was killin' it!!! R.I.P. Soul Brother #1!
