  • dis iz a puda

  • did he almost decide to start playing "other people's lives" there for a second? just wanted to tease that guy in the crowd i guess.

  • He should send a royalty check to the pixies for this one; He's channeling Black Francis, which if you haven't heard, check out the song "hey" of doolittle.

theyr'e really great with Johnny marr by the way.

  • When was this filmed?

  • I think that Modest Mouse needs to throw a Long Drive/Lonesome concert in their home town of Issaquah so then I could get to see them finally cuz I live right by where Isaac used to live...but he never comes back =(

  • Take their own advice "I know where your from, but where do you belong?"

Also, you should be wishing for an Isaac Brock show, not Modest Mouse because the rest of the band is not from there.

  • They met in high school and i believe them to have all grown up in issaquah, with the exception of dan. I hate this yelling shit from isaac in his later live performances. he's like afraid to hear his voice squeak or something.

  • what "later live perfomances" do u mean?

  • What song do they start playing half way through?

  • its still the same song... they just mucked around with it and made it extra long

  • Modest Mouse is and always has been a great band. Their newer stuff is good - I own their newer albums, but they will never top Lonesome Crowded West and This Is a Long Drive for Someone With Nothing to Think About. Two of my favorite albums of all time. I wish I could see them live and have them only perform songs off those albums...of course I know that will NEVER happen.

  • I love this song. Amazing.

I love GNFPWLBN, but this is just amazing.

Hopefully they touch on their older stuff in their coming albums.

  • "touch their older stuff" wtf do you mean? that makes no since. The new album has the original drummer, and is has help from the bass player from The Smiths. It comes out later this year.

  • You are an idiot.

I'm saying they degraded and changed a bit with Good News, and that I hope they touch on their older stuff.

Theres nothing about my statement that doesn't make sense.

And yes Green is back and Marr is on, old news.

  • .. the phrase "Touch their old stuff" doesn't really make since. I mean I get the point you like thier old stuff better. But I'd rather them make music that they feel, then force their old sound onto themselves. You can't do that to music. Also, good news, was great, and better then a lot of their older stuff. (not all of it)

  • i agree with both of u, u cant force urself to go back in time, u have to go with what u feel at the time, cuz if u force it on urself it doesnt sound as original

  • they have the guitar player from the smiths, not the bass player.

  • I don't know what I've been told, you never die and you never grow old

  • Modest Mouse is incredible, their older stuff is just amazing.

  • modest mouse is AMAZING, god i only wish i was that talented

  • they are really gods

  • i love this song. i wish i could find it online somewhere

  • it's on the album "A long drive for some one with nothing to think about" which I think is their best. (also one of their first)

  • these guys are god. everyone needs to know that
