  • backstage disney ruined the magic for me... but i got to march in the main street parade!!! can scratch tht off my bucket list i got to be a cast member for the day!!!! it was also the opening day of star tours and we got to cut 4 hours of waiting in line SSSSOOOO WORTH IT!!!!!

  • CHEESE DOODLES? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! YOU ARE NEVER EVER ALLOWED TO HAVE CHEESE DOODLES! EEEVVVVEEEER!

  • There is one thing Disney does not tolerate, and that is Cheese Doodles.

  • thats funny, oh gosh do you have your cheese doodles put away haha

  • the same thing happened to me at the same part of this stupid ride

  • This same thing happened to me years ago on Pirates of the Caribbean. That part of backstage Disney isn't as interesting as you'd think.

  • What ride was this?

  • @AvenueQdude splash mountain.

  • you can get sued for having this video up on YouTube. You get told this evetytime you enter backstage Disney. This video should really be put down. But its the owners choice to keep it up. Hopefully they won't find this

  • @PS3xStudpum Oh please, no one is going to be sued for showing "backstage" Disney.

I can see it all day long on Google Earth.

  • What was with the random Dopy vid at the end?

  • I was once stuck on Space Mountain for 40 minutes. They turned all the lights on and it was a sight to see. Most of the cars were evacuated, but just before they got to ours they got the problem fixed and after a short wait we finished the ride, with the lights still on!

  • I remember the same thing happened to me on Spaceship Earth! Did you know that is where they get all of the dust for the haunted mansion?

  • I actually have been back there before, they told us to turn off our cameras due to being in a backstage area, but what you saw was the floats for the parade. You can also see the backs of Big thunder and Pirates of the Caribbean back there also.

  • Usual Splash Mountain stuff.

  • oh darn right before the big drop

  • wow I was almost evacted of that exact spot.

  • @jimstech they dont in the front of the park, but backstage they do

  • you can get arrested for filming back there. i went on the tour. i would suggest taking this down haha

  • The Haunted Mansion broke twice as I rode it, if you're going to be on a ride when it brakes, that's the one you want!

  • When i went there one time the ride stopped because some idiot 2 rows behind us kept splashing the row behind us. i told him to stop it or i would punch him in the face. apparently that shut him up.

  • Freaking tower of terror broke down right before the big drop during extra magical hours I'm only 16 but when your 13 that's some pretty cool stuff to see the view from the very top of tower of terror. :D

  • For the love of GOD don't forget the Cheese doodles and the wet butt

  • 8 people need to put away there cheese doodles

  • So, what ride was this?

  • @Swordsman2500 splash mountain

  • @wfh111 Oh yes, I see it now. Thank you for clearing that up. ^-^

  • @Swordsman2500 Splash Mountain.

  • i've had to get off of test track before :/

  • i can see it now: next on channel 3 news, "when splash mountain breaks down."

  • "Oh gosh, do you have the cheesedoodles put away?"

Hahaha, classic. BTW, I love that Yoop/Northern/Canadianesque (correct me if I'm wrong, and don't troll) accent!!! Righteous!!!

  • "Oh gosh, do you have the cheesedoodles put away?" Classic :D

  • I was involved with a mens choir in high school, and we sang at Disney. We got free admission, so we were waiting in line for some ride. This guy was doing some sort of sock-puppet on camera thing for a website, rip off of Triumph, but whatever. Guy kicks open one of the the emergency exit doors and tapes five seconds of the backstage area. We get to the ride after a long wait, and these guys literally took him and his camera away. Good times at Disney. They take that shit pretty seriously.

  • lol! this made me laugh soo much! you two are the funniest couple

  • what ride?

  • @buddie1489 this ride is Splash Mountain

  • omg I would love to be E-vaced off splash! ugh lol and if you came out on the other side you could have seen pirates! haha people rarely get to see this consider yourself lucky!!! haha

  • It can be cool. We broke down on The Mummy at universal studios, about 10 mins before the park was closing...we ended up getting freed and walking through the ride with the lights on! It was really cool, totally different and when we exited the park was empty...I actually enjoyed it x

  • ohhh wow...i know exactly where ya was...i use to work at splash mountain...hmmm yea be care bout that...video...

  • I'm leaving this Thursday can't wait but it might be to cold to ride Splash mountain. We'll see.

  • IM GOIN NEXT FRIDAY!!!

  • great....now i want cheese doodles

  • cool reporting, thanx for posting!

  • yeah behind a few rides are some stuff like the Parade equipment and ride equipment and storeage areas. When I went to go and perform with my highschool band we were back there and we saw alot of the parade stuff and carts for rides that needed to be fix I swear when I first saw it I thought "are we in a filming studio?"

  • I think it's cool that te Parade warehouse is right behind Splash Mountain.

  • on indiana jones ourcar stopped at the end of the drop and it felt like it was stuck on the track or somthing and then a nother car was coming down the drop and our car spend up to the exit it scared the crap out of me

  • she got a wet butt somehow...

  • very important to have your food away before a drop! lol

  • "oh gosh, do you have the cheese doodles put away" LOL!

  • @kobevsjordan310 That was random. I have no idea why she said that, but, thumbs up!

  • When I was in 8th grade, my school band was invited to play on a stage in Disneyland, near the entrance to frontierland. We got to enter the park through the "back stage" of toon town, and saw all sorts of warehouses with rusted old jungle cruise boats and faded elephants and part to small world dolls... it was creepy and interesting at the same time :/

  • I used to drive the street sweeper back there......man that brings back memeories of the Mouse!

  • I've gotten stuck in that exact spot on that ride but in disneyland. not fun.

  • the reason behind that, when i experienced that, was that some cameras were not working. The ride was fine, but the cameras were cheap.

  • Great vid, random clip of Dopey at the end xD

  • This happened to me when I was there over christmas! Same ride and everything! I heard it was closed for renovations the day after I left too...

  • You guys are cute. . . "Oh gosh did you put away your cheese doodles?" LOL.

  • We were on Pirates of the Caribbean and the boat got stuck right on top of the drop. It was during Halloween and we had paid for a hard ticket to get into the park. Well...they kept us waiting 1 hour and 30 minutes!!!!! before letting us off. By the time we got off, the the fireworks were just starting and all the park was closing...and Pirates was the first ride we had gotten on! Needless to say the whole night was ruined!

  • It was funny though...the cast members had to tie the boat to a pole beside the river to make sure it wouldnt go over the drop while we were getting off. They were also telling is to walk as gently as possible so we wouldnt tip the boat

  • scary stuff

at least you got to see the fireworks

  • LOL-Sit down ,shut up & hang on. (funny)

  • Yeah that happened to me to but it was on soarin'. For some reason they took all of us out of line and led us through a door behind soarin' so we went around the building and came through another door that brought us right to the front of the line.

  • Thats what happened to me and my friend too!

  • The lift hill or something in front of it must have broken.

  • Aw, it broke down just before the big drop. There are people who would kill for that. xD A lot of people ask cast members if they can get off before the drop, which simply isn't possible unless the ride breaks down.

  • im from minnesota & live here 2! what school do u go 2 & what city do u live in? i go 2 chelse heights elementary & live in st paul!

  • I had a similar thing happen at Epcot.

  • I dont know why people want to see backstage so much its really not that exciting..been there done that

  • You are very lucky!

  • this happened to me on space mountain hahahah

    it was well funny loll

everyone kept going start the ride, start the ride!

but then they all got told to evacuate the ride loll

  • its entertaining to watch these videos sure... but i hate it too because if you arent a castmember... then you arent meant to see behind the scenes... to me this is just ruining the magic of the disney parks... ive spent endless months doing evacs in f-land and despised video and photography on the mountains... i was the bitch of the evacs i suppose lol

  • on the wdw railroad during the day on the trip from frontierland to toontown, you can see the building that they launch the fireworks at but its not inside the railroad *aka magic kingdom* its on the outskirts of it just take a look

  • ooh, I'm suprised you were able to sneak that...lucky you! (-:

  • I've been back there before nothing to it really you just see all the parade floats and characters. They make you turn off you cell phones and cameras. I was with a band. But at least I can say I've been backstage at Dinsey World.

  • hey i remember u guys i was behind u. ask us ho w long we have been sitting here i. u probaby dont remember me

  • Nice video wet butt. and I liked Doopy at the end.

  • I applaud you for taking this video clip, VERY lucky to catch backstage stuff from a guest point of view.

  • The people in my cart were evac'd from Tower of Terror in Orlando. They stopped the ride -- just as our cart was about to enter the elevator shaft -- because some kid took off her seat belt.

  • hahaha how dumb why would a kid take off their seat belt?

  • The Tower of Terror in California has seat belts that lock when the ride is running, I would have thought the Florida one would be the same...

  • The seatbelts do lock in all TOT's around the world. Impossible to manually take off seatbelt from the elevator.

  • wow.that's just unfair,i've been backstage 2 times [both times with band], n both stated videos, cellphones,or cameras weren't allowed. It was pretty cool to see how everything worked and who the nutcracker trumpet players were.

  • is it me or half way through this around about 42 seconds does she say something about a cheese doodle??? lol

  • The lady sounds like some CNN newsreader.

"Okay, what just happened and where are we?"

"Oh my ... looks like we are on a movie set"

    LOL!

  • while i was working in tomorrowland we actually had to pull people off all the time...its sad..a lot of the time, its due to a health reason of another guest

  • wow, i have been stuck in a continuous loop of one of the Carousel of Progress segments, but never like this..

  • Hmm, well splash is on the edge of the park...the cool part of the tunnels are in deeper. The parade base is right in back of splash though, cause that's where the parades begin.

  • That's kinda cool

  • Looks like you got stuck /just/ before the lift for the big drop.

I've only ever been evac'd once, on Pirates of the Caribbean.

You got to see one of the cooler parts of backstage Magic Kingdom. It's directly behind Splash Mountain. It's the parade area, where they keep all the floats for the parades they have and have had in the past.

  • i got stuck on california screamin. its at calofornia adv in disneyland: calo :]

  • I actually got stuck on the ride, and I went thru all these tunnels and stuff to get out. kinda interesting

  • i would love to do that

  • hahahaha luckies

  • there aint realy nothing back stage at magic kindom ive been back there many times the cool stuff is at mgm

  • Its splash mountain. but all we saw were the parade floats, no big deal.

  • what ride was this?

  • splash mountain

  • Geez it looks like you were in magic kingdom and exited in MGM Studios Thats freaky

  • Very cool... And you guys were so funny! I love these evacuation videos... In over 45 years of visits to Disneyland, I've never been evacuated even once. Thanks for posting!

  • I have been back there too. (For slipknot555133, I was also on a band trip) and yeah, they tell you to turn off everything. I thought it was pretty cool.

  • haha i went there on a band trip..and we had to go backstage and theyll kick you out if they see you taking ne pictures or nehting...idk why

  • because it ruins the magic

  • What ride is this?

  • Splash Mountain, and why would Disney sue you???

  • So why again were you ushered off? Because of the people in front of you?

  • I see that every day!

  • And yes, Disney would sue you...or terminate us then sue us....

  • LOL... ya'll were ushered out next to the trash reclaiming facility.

  • I got stuck on Splash Mountain before too.

We were also evacuated. It was about 45 minutes before they took us off. I remember the backstage. Cool stuff.

And they are absolute nazi's about cameras backstage.

  • wow! thats really neat thanks for sharing!

  • you are a rebel...disney likes to sue people ya know.

  • no they don't...
