ACME Raptor Electric Brushless Truggy

I have just bought tha acme raptor brushless v2 but do not know how the brake works? The red ERC is suppose to flash when braking but my one does not flash at all? The only way i can stop it is to flick it into reverse but it does not stop quick enough?

Please advise?

I like it but even with small jumps like in this vid if you hit the front or rear bumper, the alloy chassis bends where the where the diff is mounted. it didn't break off yet but it's a worry if I'd have to replace whole chassis and dif mounts. Anyone else? This shouldn't be happening on any RC no matter how cheap.

DO NOT, try to do burnouts with this, i tried doing one and my esc caught on fire so i had to put lots of sand on it to put the fire out, now have to buy a new motor and esc, also buying a new rc car called, (maveric strada tc)does anyon know if it is fast, thanks.

Not at all durable, have had mine for a while. Very fast but poorly made, had to replace the knuckle, servo, front shocks and plenty of glue.

Good idea mate. this one is awesome little truggy. I love it. ACME is going to gift me one tomorrow 15th sept 09. I am going to have fun with it. One battery gives you 8 to 10 mins of run and on supplied charger it takes 4 hours to charge. you can get more batteries or a good charger though.

I where wondering if you have brushless do you have to use lipo battery? Becouse i wanna change motor on my electric to a brushless motor :)

some brushless don't use Li Po batteries. not every brushless motor is designed to stand for power fo Li po. If you change the motor make sure you buy brushless motor and brushless ESC that is designed for Lipo Batteries.
