  • 2 questions

    1) Is creativity/uniqueness necessary to prosper in this era?

    2) when would this phase of BIG GOVERNMENT get over?

  • are new ideas NECESSARY to prosper in this Era?

  • @amitp2 I would say yes, absolutely, with Uranus on the loose again.

  • @northwatuppa The big government phase mentioned in this video relates to the movement of the moon's nodes. I fear I do not know how fast the nodes move, but I *think* it takes them about a year and a half to go through a sign or something on that order. Also, they move backwards through the Zodiac. The north node will be out of Cap and into Sag starting early in 2011.

  • @amitp2 I would have to say absolutely yes, again. There is no way we are going to get through the next 60 years without new ideas. But that is only the beginning of the story.

  • thank you, i always enjoy your interpretation of the planets ! when you explain it, i feel like 'i get it'! even though sometimes it may seem a little hard to swallow at first. good job....

  • "Hard to swallow at first"

    Story of my life.

  • You are an excellent astrologer. Thank you for this information!

  • check out ..... Walter Burien@google

  • Thank you for the wonderful & informative video ! It does seem like the capricornian approach is required on many levels at the moment, it's certainly changed all fronts of my personal life since the pluto transit began. People really seem to be feelin the heat under the eclipse's influence, i hope everyone makes it through the period of change ! ^_^

  • Yes. In the "old days", before Pluto in Capricorn, the rough aspects used to affect people sparingly. The really bad effects were only really apparent on the macro level, in the headlines.

But since Pluto has gotten into Capricorn, it seems like the bad effects are much more widespread, they penetrate much more deeply into everyone's lives.

  • @northwatuppa You mean the old days with Pluto in Sag was just a warm up?

    8-)

  • I fear so. You see, it isn't just Pluto in Capricorn. Pluto in Cap is just part of a larger fourth dimensional pattern, a culmination of culminations, etc., the tip of a cosmic cycle ice berg. Capricorn is some kind of gateway sign.

Bottom line: I have noticed from talking to people and reading the papers that since Pluto has gone into Capricorn, there don't seem to be any more small problems.

  • nice video carl thanks

  • do you do charts for individuals, where could i get a chart done by you. My b day is 01/25/1974 born on 10:10 am in brooklyn NY.

  • Hello. My schedule does not allow time for doing personal charts, right now. Perhaps some time in the future.

  • ok thanks anyway, its just hard to find a good astrologist :-)

  • are you an earth sign? I love watching your videos and messages mainly you seem/feel so grounded. Thank you!

  • Hey, threeoms.

Yes, I am an earth sign, Sun at 1 d. Taurus.

  • I am scorpio, so like to go deep, 15, Jan the eclipse is gong to happen with the sun 25 degrees Capricorn with Terebellum , fixed star behind, this star brings eathquakes, many planets in Capricorn, eclipses also shakes the things up, a huge political or finances scandal are coming and probably earthquakes. I woul like to hear you opinion, you are the master,

  • Well . . . yes. I am concerned, too. I take the fixed stars seriously, also.

What I normally tell people is that the worst events tend to show up in the headlines, not in your life. Also, eclipses tend to strike hardest for people who are headed for a fall already, or who are in crisis.

But eclipses go easier on individuals. and can bring a lot of good to a lot of people. Still, these are difficult vibes and concern is justified.

  • @northwatuppa Wow! You mean like an earthquake in Haiti? As if those people were not in turmoil already? Interesting statement to look back on.

Maybe a closer look at the charting of this 7.0 magnitude earthquake is appropriate for the furthering of your astrological means?

Once again, very compelling stuff here. These are the things that "keep me coming back." Thank you. Just wish I had more time to be able to learn more about astrology.

  • I am not sure I will have the time to check out the earthquake chart. But I find that when the Saturn and Chiron lines criss cross over a spot, that is a very bad sign for that spot. But I am in the middle of lots of things right now, so it will have to wait.

  • Hi Carl, thanks for posting! I think the light-workers are ready (whether they know it, or not) for the solar system to kick this personal and collective transformation into high gear.

We know 2010 is going to be a pivotal year in the process. Just take a look at the cardinal t-squares coming this summer.

I agree with you, we should keep ramping up our stress management skills. We gotta get through it, to get past it.

  • I always try to remain upbeat and encouraging, but I also feel I need to accurately inform people about just how tough these aspects can be.

I have watched the results of these aspects on people at work for the last year or more from close up. It's been very rough on a lot of people. Health and financial crises, a variety of prolonged and often intense pressures wearing them down, big things that are impossible to avoid or evade or quickly resolve.

I wish I could get everyone to meditate.

  • It isn't big govt vs. the nwo people. It is alot more complicatated than that. There is nothing wrong with big govt, so as long as they are "doing thier job".

The problem comes in by past actions we have all witnessed by rewarding wall street for high risk gambles that have resulted in much loss, and then sticking it to the tax payer.

Hey, if it takes big govt to accomplish tasks of higher magnitude I'm all for it, but they will have to take an almost 360d. approach in doing so.

  • I think we agree.

    OMG.

  • I think what we are talking about is government creating new frame works within which we can all work and play better together. But, as you know, such things take time and they don't happen without the occasional rough patch.

I think Jupiter in Pisces will help main street, finally. Pisces is in a "man on the street" place in the US chart. Also, Pisces is in greater harmony with the US Sun sign, Cancer, than Aquarius. So, I am optimistic about J. in Pisces.

  • Yes, I know you're at the other end of those e-mails and comments ...

Sir, with respect to the brief sauntering dance between Uranus and Saturn, ... I am wondering how that will affect the pro-government atmosphere. On your guess, ... would you postulate that people will be AGAINST current government ... and FOR a more revolution and revolutionary government? How does Uranus factor in? Or, I've heard that Saturn wins this face-off? Is that so?

    Thanks, Carl!

  • An important distinction: planetary support for top-down, big government solutions ≠ (does not equal) "pro-government atmosphere." It's complicated. And you need to take individual national charts into account.

In the US, there is a dense, robust tension between main street and Wall Street, grassroots and Washington.

Also, revolutionary moods are not inconsistent with big government initiatives.

In astrology, you have to take one piece of the puzzle at a time to get at the whole picture.

  • You can have, for example, and as you often see in presidential elections, a demand from the grassroots for revolutionary change by those in power. You also see intense resistance to changes from the top.

It's really just that right now, and for a year or two more, the planets will support big government, top-down solutions.

There is a lot more going on, though.

  • Re: "Saturn wins this face off"

The planets beyond Saturn are more powerful than Saturn.

BUT, Saturn's overall position in current charts indicates that Saturn will no longer allow reckless, irresponsible expressions of the energies from the big outer planets. So, in an important sense, Saturn has the upper hand, or it will tend to have the last word.

But those big outer planets WILL have their say.

  • As ever an excellent and creative presentation which gives a thorough, yet consise and relevant overview. Thank You.

  • Wow, what a way to start the year and decade, as you quite significantly pointed out! There is much here to be considered. Is it reasonable to be optimistic about this because of the NN there with the eclipse? Because I am. It seems to indicate to me a favorable chance for just such (govt/big bus) resolutions to be enacted. However on the down side, I believe there will be considerable unrest (in a out-front and in your face kind of way) driving the whole process.

  • Yes. All the usual caveats apply.

The human condition being what it is, it is inconceivable that there would no resistance.

But some resistance to reform serves an important function.

Just not the crazy and violent stuff.

  • Thank you very much, very nice explanation once again. Those nwo fanatics need start discussing with the planets, and stop hassling you, I completely agree. What would this mean on the level of personal relationships, I mean with all the relationships that are taking on a big transformation, for better or worse?

  • I'm glad you asked that question! September's video covered some of this ground - heavy, heavy, transformative impact on relationships of all kinds on all levels.

With Venus right smack in the middle of the solar eclipse, we can expect more of the same.

Basically, our personal relationships are all changing profoundly in accordance with the demands of a rapidly changing life realities.

The 01/15 eclipse should bring a milestone in these relationship transformations.

  • Very interesting couple of videos

On a personal level, i hope 2010 is a damn site less stressfull than 09' . Not easy when you have pluto hovering over your natal MC.....no it's not :)

  • About that . . . you know Uranus will be entering Aries and the big Saturn/Uranus/Pluto square dance will begin. I am going to have to review the year's aspects before I decide what to expect. But,, on general principles, my advice would be to ramp up your stress management skills. :}
