@rebelch1ck2011 Courage :) I have been in a relationship with my boyfriend since 2009, he lives 12 000 km away, a whole different continent. So we met only during summer 2010. We're soon 2012 and I know that I have to wait minimum a year more to see his face, that's not even sure. To be honest we are just guessing he can come next year. We are going through lots of problems and all these only because of the distance, nothing else.

I have no problem about that because we have a computer to communicate and a phone too. We talked every day, 2 times a day in skype. so most of the time we talk. Him after work and before he goes to work. And me after school and before i go to school. But next year I will be in Canada to be wit him aftr i graduate college.

My fiancé is from New Zealand and Im from Europe. I have lived with him for a whole year till I had to go back home. Now, 3 years later we are still together and have been visiting each other once a year. We are engaged by now and next summer I will be moving to New Zealand for good. just like everyone else on here.. im in a long distance relationship. i met my girlfriend in may and she moved to South America, Guyana.. in August and she wont be back until august 2012. She lives in an amerindian village with no electricity, we have no way of phoning each other or talking online regularly.. we send letters that take around 4 weeks to get to each other. We speak on the phone around every 3 weeks when she can make it to the capital.

We're soon 2012 and I know that I have to wait minimum a year more to see his face, that's not even sure. To be honest we are just guessing he can come next year. We are going through lots of problems and all these only because of the distance, nothing else.

Long distance sucks.. trust me i know! But if the two really love each other then they will find a way to compromise and work it out to where they can stay together long distance. But if the two aren't truly in LOVE and willing to commit fully then it will never last. JULY 19TH 2011 :)

I met my guy 6 years ago. We're still stong but ... It hurts and hurts everytime I never see him or hear his voice.. their's so much I would love to do with him but i'm considering ending it today.. He know's I'll always love him but I think this might be for the best. So, their's no more pain and hurt between us. But I don't regret a single day I was with him talking and him saving me from all the problems I had. He will always be my best friend. I'll always love him forever and always. <3

Gee, I don't feel so bad after reading all your stories - my guy and I are only 2-1/2 hours apart, but it might as well be 20 hours, because I can only visit on weekends and the weeks are sooo long...but we'll be together next summer for good after my job contract is up!! Can't wait! If it's meant to be, you WILL find a way...blessings on you all...

i'm in a long distance relationship as well.. we have been together for a year now and yes it is hard but it is totally worth it when you have the one you love in your arms..there are people who say "long distance relationships never last" but i'm proving them all wrong.. my boyfriend lives in flordia and i live in pennsylvania.(1,060 miles).. i only got one more year until he comes back up here for good..i love him more than anything..my advice for everyone is you need trust in the relationship
