Great job, Jackie, on a classic love song! I actually remember this from before the Carpenters, when it originally appeared on Joe Cocker's MAD DOGS AND ENGLISHMEN album and was sung by, I think, Yvonne Ellman (I think that was her name, she was Eric Clapton's girlfriend for a time lol). The Carpenters were wonderful and their version was amazing as well! Thanks for reminding us of what a gem this song can be in the right hands... like yours, of course! :) Have a great week!
