Great Video. I believe Aaron Rodgers will win the MVP this year. Although his yards aren't as high as Brady and Brees, he has more TD's, he has more yards per attempt, he had more wins, and his QB rating and QBR should be noted. Those are drastically better than both QB's, it's pretty insane.
Probably another topic but I have issues with the Dan Marino's record being "broken too. Marino had 5084 yards on 564 passing attempts. Brees has 4780 yards on 583 passing attempts. Brady has 4596 yards on 530 attempts. Brees all ready failed. And Brady needs 489 yards on 24 attempts or he fails too. Marino had 48 TDs to 17 ints. Brees is 37 to 11 and Brady is 35 to 11. In short, none of these two are even close to matching what Marino did. And that's not even getting into the rule changes.
k really i think it would only come down to brees and rodgers! brady's out because he hasnt really done much. its like he's been sleeping, but i agree with you rodgers should win it. i hate him but i got respect for what he has done for the packers like winning a SB and going undefeated we at least threw week 14
Brees or Rodgers for OPOTY...whichever one doesn't win MVP will win that. DPOTY is tougher...Babin, Allen and Ware all have 18,17.5 and 16 sacks respectively but none of them play on a particularly dominant defense. I would probably vote T-Sizzle despite the Ravens putting on a stinker last night (sorry spin). OROTY will be between Newton and Dalton...classic stats vs wins/loss argument there. Von Miller or Aldon Smith for DROTY. Miller has slightly better stats, Smith plays on a better defense.
@GoldStandard000 He could probably get a couple votes. He wont win though, 'cuz wide receivers never win MVP. They usually give it to quarterbacks and running backs. But I can definitely see Calvin Johnson getting a couple votes.
@GoldStandard000 A WR will never win the award unless dude goes for like 2000+ receiving yards and 25+ touchdowns. They will just never give it to him
Obviously I am a Packer fan. I don't think it will be unanimous MVP anymore but 1 loss shouldn't cost Rodgers the award. If 1 loss disqualifies you Brees lost it week 1 and Brady lost it week 3. And no one is eligible.
Rodgers has been the most consistent all year. 40 TDs to 6 INTs and he's never had a game with more than 1 INT. All this QB's have average-at-best defense but Rodgers has also carried a team with a shuffling offensive line (he's been sacked much more than Brees and Brady). Rodgers is the MVP.
If wins/losses count for anything the Packers still have the best record by 2 games. In the 1 loss, there was 8 drops and Rodgers committed no turnovers. He was not why they lost. Meanwhile Brady threw 4 interceptions against the Bills and Brees threw 3 interceptions against the Buccaneers that cost their teams a win.. Those teams are 5-9 and 4-10 respectively so its not like they're a "better" loss either.
Also Brady has thrown it 60 more and Brees 100 more times than Rodgers, but Rodgers passer rating is 15+ points higher than them, which mean he is more efficient. When its all said and done Brady and Brees will have over 600 passing attempts. I doubt Rodgers breaks 550.
