The vid's great. Some notes are missing, but it's natural to have mistakes, plus, this song was written by the great Dr Vai, whose songs are not far from complex, that's why he's on the G3! Getting back with you, if im correct the distortion you have is from your amp, and I highly suggest that you should buy a distortion amp. I would higly recommend BOSS DS-1 distortion pedal or BOSS MT-2 MetalZone pedal, both of them are great and they give you a great quality sound of distortion.
