Karsten, this by far was one of the best UFC fight cards I've ever seen. Frankie Edgar has mad heart and one of the best chins in the sport. Maynard screwed up big time by not coming out strong at the beginning of the 2nd round, especially after he destroyed Edgar in that 1st round like he did. He let Frankie get his groove and rhythm back. Did you see the size difference between these two fighters? Amazing that Edgar pulled off the victory in that fashion!!!

While I agree about Stann, your analysis of Sonnen reeks of bias. Sonnen is a jackass. He's also a personal wreck. But that said, who else should be in line to fight Anderson? Chill out on the whle 'Brian Stann vs Sonnen getting a title shot is bogus' angle. Sonnen gave Anderson his best fight in the UFC, if Stann beats him, he'll be on a 4 fight win streak. Okami was only on a 3 fight win streak heading into his fight with Silva. Belfort hadn't fought in over a year and hadn't won a fight at 185 in the UFC when he fought Silva. Leben was on a big tear when Stann beat him and Santiago was doing well too. Another win over a guy like Sonnen and he deserves a title shot

Jay Silva was insignificant, but Simpson was undefeated and Akiyama as I said, was on a big tear and Leben fought him on two weeks notice. MW isn't a crappy division, that's just what people think. Anderson is just that much better then everyone else. Nobody says a division is stacked when there is one champ ruling everyone and making it look easy.

On the Sonnen situation, who else would you rather see Silva fight? The first fight was hyped and in a sense, met the hype... it's sell-able and it' probably still the same the only style match-up that interests people... Who else could we put against Silva? Munoz? Bisping? it's either that or Silva move out of the division... there aren't any contenders and the only 'real fight' despite all the PED, rib injury etc... that Silva's been in... it's about the MW title.

And @doliveij : Dont hate a a player dude :P. Chael trolled himself into this situation. He has given Anderson the biggest threat.
