That is not hipnotisim, that is when the bunny is so scared and he thinks there is no hope in fighting back so he/she just pretends to be dead! GRRR! Please dont do this again. Thanks x
I have a bunny that does this, and I thought it was cute, but a little odd. I researched It, and found out that it is actually a natural defence mechanism. when a rabbit thinks it is in danger, or gets turned on it's back, it paralyses itself temporarily in the hopes the predator will release it. this is actually a stressful experience for the rabbit, even though it looks relaxed.
the reason he goes into a tranze state is because that the blood is rushing to the back of his head therefore sending him slowly into a coma sol shes basicly killing the bunny
I bought your Ultimate Confidence and Do It Now! set.
Until now the Do it Now still has to work, but i haven't done the whole program yet so cant complain.
The Ultimate Confidence set does AMAZING things to my feelings. I truly feel invincible, taller and full of confidence while you say the words, in trance it's great, but it hasn't affected my thinking and feeling outside of the trance too bad :(( I hope it will though
By the way i think you are HOT Wendi, by the way i'm only 18.
I would do this with my rabbit and i thought it was funny and cute until i found out that in fact there spine gets blood cut off through it which in terms practically is choking the poor like wabbit. i stopped after i found out this information..... please do so the same!!!
Please DO NOT do this, it is not hypnosis or trancing, it is a fear induced state called tonic immobility.
There was a scientific study carried out at Edinburgh University which measured cortisol levels (stress hormone) in rabbits in this state. The study showed the cortisol levels were high in all the rabbits in the study. They are in a state of terror!
@AvianFoster That was a couple of years ago. The bunny is not still alive. He met his demise when one of my staff took him home and left him in the sun. Very sad... we all loved the bunny.
its not hypnosis i have 13 rabbits and they are made to go on there back the first thing they do is go on there back from being born all u r doin is puting it on its back i no this because my adult female rabbit has add 4 sets of babys
? and its not hypnoisi as you sed at the start the rabbit is relaxed that is all it is a relaxed rabbit many thanks x
@orangefluffyone What about if you needed to clip their nails? do you know how you can keep them still long enough? i need to know, my rabbit isnt a calm rabbit lol, shes crazy, i think its because she is only young, about 6 -7 months old
@victorias9459 If the rabbit feels relaxed and trusts you it should sit still, but that will take time. i got my rabbit used to being touched on her feet and belly by spending lots of time sat on the floor stroking her! trimming her nails is a two person job as you need one person to hold her (in a safe and natural position, never on her back!) and the other person to trim. a few little treats also help! in the mean time most respectable pet stores offer nail trimming for very little money.
Tonic immobility (TI) is a state of motor inhibition that can occur in prey animals as a last defence against a predator. The rabbit will lie still on its back, giving the impression of being already dead and encouraging the predator to release its grip, giving the rabbit a chance to escape.
TI is commonly referred to as trancing or hypnotising. It was previously thought to relax the rabbit but this has been widely discredited, studies show increased heart rate, respiration and blood pressure.
you shouldnt leave the bunny like that on a table esp...because any certain kick movement can cause the bunnies spine to snap or crack i read...you should hold on to him and do this only to pet or groom or cut thier nails...not for your entertainment..that is all.
your fucking stupid you old bitch that could break the fucking bunnys back oviously your to stupid and non expiernced with animals or else youd know that i hope you get in trouble for animal endangerment
This is so wrong!!! you do know this could kill them right???? it lowers the heart rate and also stresses them out and if they have a week heart then it will kill them. Now you obviously dont know what your doing with bunnies or you would know this. I think you are wrong to even post this on here!! Surely you would know someone would copy this. And no the buny doesnt like it cos it tried to stop and get back on iits feet :@
Actually it has to do with putting their heads back completely, as long as it stays slighty curled up... the moment you strecht it completely on its back, let alone let his head dip back slightly it'll go out like bam :p
Don't do this... You'll break your bunny's spine, and kill it.
And if you really need to, gently brace the bunny's back legs in order to prevent the bunny for kicking and struggling like crazy, reducing the danger of breaking his back.
Wow, I'm about to slap you. Go read a book please. As Steve said, that isn't true "hypnosis." Rabbits are pray animals and they play dead so that they can survive. After awaking, when they flip over, they can snap their spines because of the sensitivity of their bones.
I normally don't comment but there are several things here:
a) Bunnies are not harmed by this, it's recommended when doing inspections of a bunny or cutting nails because if you don't they are far more likely to panic and break bones (especially their spine) trying to get away.
b) Wendi, you're terrifying this poor bunny. If the bunny is on all fours with it's body lengthened and it's head below its spine that is it telling you it's freaked out. You should back off and let it relax then.
@FatBanny why i never had seen it before that bunnies do it by themselves???? hahahaha thats gotta be the most funny phrase i have ever heard FatBanny you are a fucking genious
Don't do that again! It's really bad! Actually the trancing called catalepsy is a state of extreme fear. Its a defence mechanism for when they get attacked to play dead so the predator may drop the rabbit who then has a chance to run for his life. It's characterized by the lack of response to external stimuli and by muscular rigidity, so that the limbs remain in whatever position they are placed in.
you are funny lol. Actually though all rabbits do that when you lean them back, I think it has to do with them not being able to see b/c their heads are tilted back. I had a rabbit named Buffalow, and I put her in trance when I needed to trim her nails. it was a good way to have her calm and relaxed so she wouldnt realize what I was doing. Except I laid her on my thighs, and let her head kinda lean back more.
OMG people it was just for fun sake ... anybody with half a brain knows that the bunny is not being harmed as this is a natural response for a bunny on its back ... Wendi you are incredible as a hypnotherapist and you are also one funny gal !!
This isn't hypnosis (bunnies naturally do this when put on their backs).
It might make for fun advertising to leave an bunny lying on a table unsupported, but doing so isn't very safe or healthy for the rabbit. Bunny owners often use this position for trimming nails, medication delivery, etc.. but the bunnies need proper support while in it, as they can seriously injure themselves when they try to "flip" out of the position (as your rabbit did).
Rabbits are excessively nervous prey animals. When you try to flip an animal like this on it's back where it is immobile, it will either struggle or go into a state of stillness that is designed to confuse it's predator. Chickens, lizards, and other animals will do the same thing.
Doing this to a prey animal is very stressful to it. And it isn't hypnosis.
Unfortunately this bunny did die recently. It had been a stray before Wendi and her staff fell in love with it and rescued it. BUT this hypnosis had nothing to do with its death - NO BUNNIES WERE HARMED IN THE MAKING OF THIS AND ANY OTHER VIDEO.
Wendi is a true hypnotist and she's also hilarious.
Hey Abel - why don't you go and ask your brother Cain? Cain ya? LOL - I'm makin gmyself laugh and laugh at your stupidity- how old are you fucktard? -3 LOL - you are hilarious - what a stupid ????? - LOL hahahahaahaaaaaa Okay that's enough
That isn't true hypnosis. Rabbits are born with a reflexive response to being held while put on their backs. They will go into a "play dead" physiological state. They exit that state with a burst of adrenaline shortly after not being touched. Since they are prey animals scientists think this is an evolutionary adaption to make a list minute get away from being killed.
I'm still laughing Wendi that was freakin great!! Have you seen when Criss Angel hypnotized a chicken in the country? It was great. You definitely accomplished your set task, WTG and keep it up! (if you get a chance check out my video Wendi, lemme know whatcha think) Take Care!
