  • with great respect to all those who are asking about the SPLIT and are rather dejected that they cannot pull it off.. well im a 5th degree white belt with a dojo experience of 2 months, trust me when i say, IT FUCKING HURTS!

but u know it takes time. so yea, keep trying and u shud be able to do it like the guy in the vdo is doing in say about, 20 years! good luck :)

  • @hardyinc To build up your flexibility in your legs to do a split does not take 20 years....I trained in Tae Kwon do and it took me about 4-6 months to actually do a full split...

  • @hardyinc I am a sandan in karate and have been training since 1973 at the tender age of 6 years old and it still FUCKING HURTS!

  • @hardyinc if you do it every day before you eat breakfast you will get it done in a few months just persistance and dicipline same as always

  • 3:29 Sexy Legs XD so funny I'm a gay Karateka ha ha ha I have my 1st Kyu (Brown Belt) I just love to fight, I'm a bit aggressive and I'm making use of that XD but never too aggressive out of the ring that i can't control.

  • @RafaBrasur

    what the fuck

  • OSU!!

  • i do 30 knuckles push ups

  • It's bags of sand or shot. It's dense and heavy and helps with developing heavy punches.

  • Whats the thing at 3:16?

  • if only girls could split like tht during sex!!

  • @sasukejemino Ive had it happen bro. Damn its sweet.

    i guess , breaking bones :D

  • Splits! T__T DAMN IT!

  • why do all karatekas seem fat to me?no offense

  • @evilherojoseph It's the karategi's shape. :P

  • @evilherojoseph yeah they do a lot of them seem not fat but very solid to me.

  • @evilherojoseph

Does he look fat to you???! He would kick your ass.

  • @Anguis79 well i diint mean it in a bad way ,im just saying that the karate gi makes them look fat when they rly arent ,may sound weird but there could be more ''classy'' outfits, again, no offense and im in no way against the karate philosophy about gi s

  • @evilherojoseph i much prefer the kyokushin gi's actually. Alot of schools have those god awful gi's which join at the neck by stitching, so really its like wearing a thick stiff jumper instead of a proper gi. those horrible gi's are often seen in tkd schools. and the flashy attempts often look horribly cheesy and cheap.

  • George St Peirre one of the greatest mma fighters has his original discipline from kyokushin Karate

  • what do you suppose those bags at the end are filled with?

  • @Fatal1ty919 sand

  • thanks for this!! :)

  • yes children can do this.I know some 5 year old kids that do this thinks.

  • I practiced Muay Thai and i can say Kyokushin its Awesome

  • Can children be able to do this??

  • @BubblePop250 why wouldn't they be able to

  • fuck kyokushin

  • @Mustakrakiish fuck you

  • @Mustakrakiish why you mad?

  • @kehhvin im mad people still believe in this worthless crap

  • :( I wanna train with them.

  • Isn`t it dangerous punching that bag without gloves like boxing?

  • @studioworks1990

If you can't punch a bag without gloves, without getting hurt, then the person can't punch correctly.

  • @Da1RiSiN1sMoKe Either that, or the joints in your hands and wrists aren't up for the challenge just yet. Some people may need to use gloves first or shore up those fists with knuckle-ups for a while before they go bare-handed.

  • @Da1RiSiN1sMoKe if you can punch a bag all the time without breaking ur knuckles then you punch like an 8 year old girl....

  • @Mustakrakiish

There's a difference between throwing proper technique to the proper areas than swinging like a madman with the incorrect knuckles, form, until something breaks.

Occasional injuries happen. Besides, I never met someone who fucked up their knuckles while punching a bag, unless they kept hitting with their pinky.

YOU obviously have done something wrong if you break your knuckles on a bag.

I've seen people hurt their wrists, however. -_-

  • What are those guys kicking?

  • @cutthatcity If you mean the guys at the very end, those are sandbags, just like the one he's punching @3:10.

  • @deek77

I should get me some of those. Do you know where I can get the sacks from?

  • @cutthatcity All they really have here is a burlap bag, sand, and an apparatus to hang it from. With a little creativity and a trip to the hardware & military store, you can make your own. There are places who sell sandbags, which may be manufactured to last longer, but they get real expensive.

  • Kyokushin is the best martial art we can attack and we defend and counter-attack right away, the best way to defend yourself.

  • @c0d24live23

Yeah next to Shaolin Kung Fu.

  • I can only do 2 knuckle pushups. LOL

  • I am happy to can carry out kyokushin . One of the best martial arts !

  • super !!

  • basic training- lets start of with a split.

  • @hommieJMC i cant do split damn :(

  • @hommieJMC LOL:-D

  • @hommieJMC lol good one homie

  • @hommieJMC haha boss.

  • not good enough in my standards

  • all martial arts are good.its almost the same thing it all depends on how much you train yourself

  • people watching this, one question, who will win in a battle. judo black belt or karate black belt????

  • @helpmeimconfused depends entirley on the fighter.

  • @Judokkaa true do u take judo cuz i do

  • @helpmeimconfused Yes Im a Judoka who has just taken up Kyokushin.

  • what is in the bags at 3:10 ? sand ? rise ? stone ?

  • @Heidenreich18 normally, it is chaff or rise. but sand is used too.

  • @Heidenreich18 Whatever it was it was freakin hard. They were actually taking it easy on those bags.

  • 2:24 is yao ming

  • Do połowy filmu jest pokazana sama rozgrzewka.

  • basic exercices, first thing you see

    split

    oh great!

  • What the diffrence about kyokushin and shotokan

  • Our trainer if we couldnt spret our legs (180c) and touch the ground.just come behind you and sit on your back..Man that was pain, screaming and you will do it...That was 15 years ago,I treined Kyoku foe 3 years and I had to stop..I teach something for 3 years, everything is possible and theres no thing you cant do,pain is killing but you will eventually do what you need to do!That makes Kyoku unikue, pain pasts eventualy and your body becomes a machine for things you only dreamed of before!

  • how many should I do? of each exercise. I currently belong to no martial arts center, but I want a workout at home. I use myosource kinetic bands and do 2 sets of 50 knee raises, sidekicks, backkicks, squats w/20lb vest, toe-raises w/20lb vest, calf-raises w/20lb vest. I dunno if thats anywhere close to what they do in dojos on a regular basis

  • @hakuboshi1

depends on your lvl, when u start this i think you do like 10 but when you're a black belt you should be able to do at least 120 of them

(not checked information, i'm guessing, i just passed the first kyu's (grades) myself)

  • How many squats I have to do in order to develop the muscles of my legs. I want to improve muscular mass in the lower part.

  • wait where do you want to develop muscle. If its for calf do calf raises, if its for shins I do about 100 in a set, but I'm no martial artist yet. If its for upper legs like quads I'm currently doing 2 sets of 50 squats with resistance bands and a 20lb weight vest and it burns. Iv'e never conditioned my legs before so this is new to me.

  • ja chodze na karate kyokushin

  • The splits looks extremely difficult 0_o

  • are these exercises part of the warm up or are these just good for strenghtening?

  • @Jaoxue

All of these exercises are part of your daily Kyoukushin training.

  • PORN Music?

  • @DualCorePower softcore soundtrack right there lol

  • thats great.but please could someone tell me who would win beetwen a karate champion and a muai thai champion?I'd like to know..

  • the better fighter. Fighting style hasn't got as much to do with as you'd think.

  • @Grinder116 So so true (Y) (Y) (Y)

  • @Grinder116 You sure about that, Grinder116?

"the better fighter. Fighting style hasn't got as much to do with as you'd think."

Sure, that was a 9 months old post, but I don't like fakes and lies left for the younger generation. Everybody was born with a fighting style. It is the strength of your style that kept you alive all this time.

Martial Arts, is only a way to express your innate style in physical form.

Fighting style, is everything. Someone who can do more than you, will always win.

  • @ytacc0 you're right, i really didn't express myself correctly (as english isn't my main language). I had only wanted to point out that there is no superior fighting style. Your post however puts "how to choose a Martial Art" into words very well.

  • @ytacc0 "Someone who can do more than you, will always win."

It's so complex, so the meaning of this sentence is so fail:D

  • @Kamforka You just making fun of that comma i put there?

Cuz if its anything else, you'd be trying to figure out the meaning instead of bein here doing somethin stupid.

  • @ytacc0 Read The Kyokushin Way and you'll figure out the wrong side of your "comma".

  • @Kamforka How about you be a sport and just give me the section of the book where a comma matters. And oh please, don't talk to me about spelling and grammers. That is just plain stupid to be doing on the net.

  • @Grinder116 almost right ;)

  • @Grinder116 i think its more about what style fits each persons way of thought and body type

  • @abacgnu1 under what rules? what weight? which champions? its not that simple both are good martial arts

  • its not the martial arts its the fighter. no such thing as a superior martial art

  • Can anywhere say me, what the name of the SLOW MUSIC is please?

  • Thats extreme flexibility! That would take me years to become that flexible...but kicks to the head would be so easy! OSU!

  • HAJIME!

  • glaube feitosa is a great kyokushinkai fighter

  • really great video

    kyokushinkai will never die!

    Osu No Seishin!

(but people need to training for the splits first lol xD)

  • Comment removed

  • OSU!!!

  • Man, this takes me back. I remember all of these conditioning exercises, the weighted jumpropes, punch drills while holding free weights, good times.

  • yea they were kicking those heavy ass 300lb bags i can kick a banana tree over lol

  • 3:09 ryu narushima ;D

  • i think that really hurts. ossu!

  • OSU!

  • Where can you get a makiwara/bag for practicing strikes like at the end of the video?

  • Do it by yourself. Use bag and sand.

  • What kind of bag is best?

  • linen. It must be strong becouse you will kick and punch it very strong right?

  • Yes exactly, thank you very much.

  • nice

  • osu respect,superbe,vive le kyokushin,oussss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is alot like taekwondo.

  • Kjempebra innsats.

  • jeg skal begynne med kyokushin , jeg har drevet med muay thai for lenge

  • Squats suck since your legs can handle the weight easily you gotta do tons and tons of em to get any benefit.

  • not some people my dad tryed to do some and he couldnt even do 5

  • If you do squats in a very controlled good way you`ll get more results faster. Like all exercises it depends how you perform them.

  • lol

  • oh shut up kyokushin is one of the best martial arts out there

  • @iamdanigga no it's not

  • what does jump roping do for you, is it just for stamina?

  • yea well if by stamina u mean cardio then yea :P

it trains your heart, which, according to many, is the most important aspect of fighting. every time throw or receive a hit, ure heart rate increases...therefore, if you have a stronger heart, you can last much longuer in a fight. this can compensate for being weaker than ure opponent :)

  • hmm strong heart strong endurance hhuh? lol well then i guess i had better start eating my cheerios?

  • jump rope is helping you for stamina, foot work,co-ordination of hands and feet

    leg power and many more.

  • ok thnks

  • he reminds me of ryu from street fighter

  • lmao! all he needs is stronger Ki energy!!

  • What are the Back Arches for?

  • back arches are for lower back muscles...it helps in adding more power in kicks and punches...

  • I dont think its necessary for the other guy to be there doing the reverse leg raises?

  • hahahhahahahahahahahahahh, gymnasticks is nothing compared with karate kyokushin ,every sefl-respekting karata kyokushin fighter can do 1000 sit-ups 3 times 50 push-ups and 3 times 100 jumping squats with no problems

  • Its alright for basic training. the splits and handstand are more itermediate

  • the bag is filled with sand and wooden row.when they mixed with each other they become very hard like stone or rock

  • At 3:19, is that dry blood on the bag he's punching?

I'll have to try some of these exercises.

  • lol holy shiet

  • no its not

  • speaking of which, isn't that ryu narushima hitting the bag?

  • this is blood, we use the same thing, u know, it's some kidna jute or burlap sack, and that scratches your skin, so yes, it is blood, but it's alright, it makes the skin on your knuckles stronger

  • i train my fist while hitting a wall or something else that is hard from light punches till stronger ones ;)

  • Hitting a wall or something else without atleast a little "give" is a bad idea. Not only do you hurt the knuckles, but you also destroy you wrists.

You can do it a while, but in the long run it is only detrimental.

The bag makiwara at the end of this vid is a good tool. Its hard but yielding. Hitting it repeatedly (or kicking the low bag with the shin) will give good conditioning.

  • cool i want to be real good one day

  • Thanks for posting. The bag they are striking at 3:23 in the video, can any one tell me what that is filled with? Any respones would be appreciated.

  • from what read in the comments, rocks lol

  • An educated guess would be very fine sand (compacts VERY hard).

  • OSU !!!

  • i am a guy who can do the full splits and all that, what he is doing is extremely easy but those leg things never seen them, they look kinda messed up even though i do that martial art

  • I am a red-black belt in Hapkido,

and the hardest thing for me to do is

handstand and splits. (although I am starting to train enough to do the splits for a week now) and the handstand might take a while to get it. Although one the black belts can do it for like minutes... x.x

  • I have never heard of someone winning a fight while doing a hand stand. Also not everyone's pelvis can open up to do a split, check your anatomy books.out and you will find this to be true.

  • I'm in Indonesia, and looking for Kyokushinkai Karate Do Chapter in my country,.where can I find them? thx

  • excellent, what are the sacks filled with at the very end of the video?
