@darkoneforce2 mostly because of cost and I don't think for TV they have the artist that do what they did 45 years ago for TV for the price they paid them. But it could make a great movie.

@darkoneforce2 It's not so much the cost or the censorship parents have, it's the generation we have nowadays. Young kids, teenagers, and even some adults don't care anymore about story or good morality, they just want action and entertainment with no meaning behind them. It also has to do with the fact that shows like this are not politcally correct or not dramatic enough. Film making, and even animation, used to be a work of art. Now it's just a way to make big money, even if it's terrible.

@infinitlycool Actually I watched an interview with some people behind Animaniacs, and they said you can't do something like that anymore. You could get away with things in the 90s that you can't anymore.

@Audi134: They MAKE them, not just mindlessly rerun them, and if I can continue: Avatar: The Last Airbender, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Young Justice, Delilah & Julius, Skyland (short lived, but still great) the two most recent Transformers & G.I. Joe shows, The Spectacular Spider-Man, Class of The Titans, Grossology, any Japanese anime show (translated or original), Scooby-Doo: Mystery Inc... the list goes on and on.

@Neville6000 actually, most of those are a waste of time when compared to the classics that they used to show on cartoon network. Now I'll admit that Young Justice and Avatar were pretty good shows and Anime is always awesome. The original Scooby Doo, A Pup Named Scooby Doo, even the Snorks and Smurfs and Pound Puppies those were good shows. Most of the stuff now is crap... If you were born in The 80's and early 90's you'd understand most cartoons today are utter nonsense...

@Neville6000 Storm Hawks, Iron Man-Armored Adventures, and Metajets are cool, but I haven't seen anything the caliber of X-men, Batman, DBZ, Fullmetal Alchemist, Reboot, Recess, Beast Wars, Darkwing Duck, Talespin, Ducktales, Pirates of Darkwater, Red Planet, Magic School Bus, Muppet Babies, Animaniacs, SWAT Kats, Pink Panther, Gargoyles, Dinosaucers, Cybersix, Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego in a long time.
