what is the song at the end? it is in my head and i want to find it. they also use it in the video on the marching band website. if you can tell me it would be awesome
You guys are always so good! You guy rock and im sure you always will! Im in the penn hills marching band and we will never be as good as you guys are! Keep rockin, -3 ya!
Not very impressive. Especially the cymbal line. All they ever want to do is sit around and talk about Amazing Grace and the Santa Clara Vanguard cymbal line. They steal their ideas, and then they screw them up in the performances! IUP sucks!!!!
if i ever see the day when a marching band plays slayer, im gonna shit myself. literally if i ever see a marching band play slayer or sepultura on the field, im gonna have shit blown out of my ears. anyways good performance though.
both my band director and drumline instructor are in this. they arranged a version of this. it consists of a little night music, symphony no.5 and no leaf clover. it sounds cool so far
this show makes me wish I had been born ten years earlier just so I could have played in it. I'm in the band now and people still play No Leaf Clover in the stands
why dont you get a job has the same melody as obladioblada. i noticed it after our winter drumline used obladioblada as a pit warmup, i was like THE OFFSPRING!!! but my instructor was like THE BEATLES!!!
Doc had a special magic that no one can ever replace. That made my IUP band days special and memories I live with for the rest of my life! IUP let a jewel go.
I'm a high school senior, and currently the flute/picc section leader in my marching band. I just applied to IUP as my to choice school. I was unsure about joining marching band, but after seeing that, I am defintely auditioning if I get in. Man, they were spot on perfect!

ICE ICE BABY!

It was very redundant. In 1993, we did pretty much the same thing...."Vivaldi to Vanilla Ice" It was hardcore and so much more original.

cmsasuke17: It's not on a field, but type in "What Cheer? Brigade" and "Raining Blood". At least, it will wet your appetite.

just an observation and in no way a slight to the band but the arrangement of the metallica parts is too upbeat and happy.
The playing is amazing I'm simply commenting on the arrangement.
i was hoping for something a little less traditional from this show is all.
phoenixprince 2 years ago
I agree...its way to upbeat and happy...my school is doing our show based on metallica this year..and its heavy, not in a bad way xD

If only high school marching bands could do this. The IUP marching band always goes for performing at the highest level possible.
