Assyrian made websites do to an extent hold the truth. I study the history of the Ancient Near-East and have so for probably 3 years now. I have a huge interest in Assyriology and Ancient Persia and I can assure you, the Chaldeans we know of today are simply Syriacs (Assyrians as we call them).
