  • A spectacular place to visit, but I wouldn't spend a CENT there because they WILL rip you off. Anything you find in the Grand Bazaar can be found outside the Bazaar for often less than half the cost.

  • Like if youre here because of Assassins Creed

  • Yes, pick pockets & people who will run into old people & knock them down. It's a very big rush of people. & lost, so lost you will get. My advice is to stick together with the ones you're with or you'll never find them again. AAHHH!!, the food is good!!

  • This is a very informative video that all travellers going to istanbul will find truly useful:-) job well done and thank you for producing it!

  • Social and economic problems have grown as a city in the mountains

  • Bazar means TRUSTing each other. Sisters & brothers.(stealing and like that) I think no other country has this love to ur next more then Turkey. u dont know that guy but u call him (Abi or Abla,Kardes,Amca or Teyze) means Bigbrother or Bigsister; little brother/sister,Uncle or aunt.

  • Much too much of Dennis' face. The surroundings are much more interesting. Some good information, though.

  • it's amazing there !!!!!

  • it's cheaper 2 buy things in the spice bazaar than the grand bazaar.

  • I went to the Bazaar last week. If you are buying anything of value you must bargin at least 25% - 30% off the vendors starting price.

I saw many Americans who were clueless in negotiating - easy prey.

They are many shops selling identical wares, so if you do want to buy something goto 1 or 2 other shops first to get the 'real' price.

Buying something in the Bazaar does not necessarily mean its always cheaper then shops elsewhere in the city....be warned.

    Finally, enjoy the experience there!

  • io ci sn stato...

  • Лошки рыночные бля пизоглазые,не нарадовались со своим морем???У вас педиков уже потоп епт наконец-бог вас наказывает за все ваши педиковские грехи,и Ной вам не поможет бля Ухахахаха)))))

  • I have never been there, but it's exactly what I expected...I see

  • Just got back from Istanbul.... And of course spend a whole afternoon in the Grand Bazar.

I bought a couple of stuff from there. and I have to say that everybody was friendly to us... without forcing us to buy anything against our will.

As a tourist, you have to be nice and refuse politely anything you dont really fancy to purshase.

An amazing experience to get lost in the middle of this mazes.... I recommend it to anyone visiting or planning to visit ISTANBUL.

  • watch istanbul

    watch?v=eUCLJDgVASg

  • If you go to Istanbul. Don't you ever go to the Grand Bazaar. Maybe it was fabulous in its prime but now it is only a source of bad memories of stereotypes. Everybody says you have to see it. No, you don't. Sellers are rude, shifty and annoying. Go to any other mall you can find. Yes, the mall won't look authentic but the merchandise will be, especially in the stores like Pasabahce, Mavi or Koton. In the Grand Bazaar the ambience is almost the only thing made in Turkey, the rest in China.

  • It's great fun, but for the best prices on small items go to one of the shops outside where they have a fixed price. You'll find things at a fifth or a quarter of the 'starting price' in the Bazaar, lower than you would dare to suggest as a counter-offer. Do go though - it's an amazing place.

  • i hate this guy and hes wreking istanbul

  • its not just americans which are gullible so are europeans. this type of bazaar shopping dont exist in europe or uk. you cant barter or ask for cheaper prices in uk cause everything is pretaxed (vat) Here you can buy affordable items.

  • nedir bu düşmanlığın?

  • I been here,its very wonderful.I bought a leather jacket,they have so wonderful leather stuff,and of course a lot of gold.lol

  • Not trying to take sides in the argument, but calling someone a descendant of a homosexual is bordering on irony.

  • You really are a dumb dickhead aren't you! You must think you're really funny, but I tell you what I would never go to your country, because people in your country burn Turks, that's how civilised you are!!!

  • It's moron not morron you fool.

    Who's the illiterate now. Idiot.

  • If you ever visit this place be sure and wear a big posterboard that says "No I don't want to buy your goddamn rugs". I have never seen such shameless in-your-face marketing. one Turk even asked my husband "Can I help you spend your money?" Nonetheless great city with a richly preserved history if you stay the hell away from this place.

P.S.you'll get a better deal for your dollar too if you buy gold on ebay instead. No real bargains here, just hype from people who don't do their research.

  • Oh you sound really shocked at people wanting to sell their goods, darling wake up you and the herd you're from invented capitalism, if it bothers you so much don't go there, stay the hell out go and spend you're money on Mcdonalds and coke and make your huge arse get even bigger, because they have a lot of shame when they advertise their shit product and target little children don't they. SAHME ON YOU!!! ignorant .....

  • Istanbul,Costantinople,Bisanzio it's same,

    always that wonderful city is....

call that you like you want

  • ISTANBUL!!!!

    Not Constantinople

  • Are you Greek?

  • I also like waffles

  • do u call new york as new amsterdam? ofcourse not. then call it istanbul thats better

  • HAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAH

  • dont waste your time with replying this kid who wants people to pay attention to him.its sure that he has problem with social life.

  • The guy says you can even bargin in a restaurant that's bull don't even try it cause if you do they will tell you to go to the closest Mcdonalds or burger king.

  • KARMALI KAKA AND ROSHAN WADIMA

  • NICE BAZAAR
