Brilliant! Thanks so much for sharing this. Of all the videos I've ever seen on youtube, this is my favourite. I've been trying to find out which of Foster and Allens DVDs it's on so I can get it. Does anyone know?

thanks for adding this to my video as video response. i actually found this video a couple of weeks ago and i just love it, i had to go out that night and thats why i didnt leave a comment and forgot all about it since then.
Thanks MarksieBoy, where did you get your audio from? it's much better quality since mine was ripped from an old video. No one can play with Mick Foster's style and he always looks like he's enjoying himself.
I have the actual cd that the reels are from called Accordian World, if you want it i can sure send you it, yes Mick is wonderfula t playing the Accordian and i always enjoy Hugo playing it up to 2pm news on BBC Radio Ulster every weekday
beautifull, just to let everyone know, that Mick foster, does often play in Foxes Pub, in ballymahon Co Longford, this session of tradtional music is usually organise at short notice, but it is mighty, other who play in the session are Maura Frazer, Willie Kavanagh who is an an all ireland banjo player, to many more to mention, but usually fifiten to twenty players, when i know of next session will post note.
I wholeheartedly agree with you htere, even I am inspired to play the accordion thanks to MIck Foster: given he gave me a chance to play the accordion featured in this video when we met at the Doncaster Dome about 15 or 16 yrs ago!
I'm not sure where in Ireland it was filmed but the dancers are from Northern Ireland. I started Irish dancing because of this gorgeous musician! He's a sweetheart.
Think it was filmed around 94/95 and these were the first two reels I learned on the accordion from watching this very video. Mick Foster rocks! A first class musician and a gentleman.
must have been hot in there!

Is it the style of dance or their dress that shows them to be North Irish?

I wonder also. Maybe it is the kilts on the boys so the look like Scots?
The camera man did a very good job also.
