According to this research, the disturbing trend now based on the rate of infertility world wide, economies will tank because the foundation of economies are families. People are termed and human capital, where people are the foundation of the economies. Another disturbing trend is that as population decreases, higher taxes are imposed by governments on it's own people, which in turn causes people to not have kids because they can't afford to. It's a vicious cycle and a downward spiral.

Dystopia is an imaginary place where people lead dehumanized and often fearful lives. That is an apt description of many societies today where adults have legalized the killing of their children, the elderly and those disadvantaged. In each case, the victim is dehumanized; the child is just a blob of tissue, the elderly person has a mind too confused to be worthwhile, the handicapped person is a 'vegetable'.

In my family, very few are having children. It's a shame that it's "not politically correct" to have more than two children. If you do, your only replacing the mom and dad.

I don’t like it when zealots hijack an issue to promote an agenda. The birth rate has declined in most industrial nations and the consequences must be addresses, but the answer is not to roll back our freedoms. This film is propaganda to frighten people into giving power to social conservatives.

Their solutions to this problem include limiting divorce, media censorship, ending abortion rights and access to contraceptives, and lying to children.

@redrover411 And...Where's your proof of this? Why is limiting elective abortions (which kill unborn children and deny them THEIR RIGHT to life) a restricting of people's freedom? How is showing the HARD FACTS supposed to automatically make a film "fear-mongering"? How does reinstituting divorce which require proof of infidelity and abuse, and handing out contraception in schools like candy, have anything to do with lying to children? How does encouraging our species to breed create a dystopia?
