@jamessmith190594 I've heard decent things by The National...and Radiohead used to be great...The Bends is by far their best album....They've totally gone off the deep end. I don't know about the other 2, but I won't rescind my comment with your negative remarks on this song. It's wonderful and that's all there is to it. Music doesn't need to be hard or bizarre to be good. Most of all it needs melody, and this song is oozing with it.

I'm open-minded enough to check out any bands that are suggested to me and I did just that...I've known about Radiohead since the early 90's and my statement hasn't changed about them....Frightened Rabbit and The National are fucking outstanding! Apartment Story by The National might just be one of the greatest songs I've ever heard, period. I've also heard other great shit by them and same goes for FR. I'm running out of room, so next post.

@jamessmith190594 Well, I can assure you I'm anything but ignorant. Indie music is extremely broad and no one knows what the "future" of it is. Music continues to evolve....First we had classic pop and brit invasion from the 60's, classic rock/progressive rock/glam rock/punk rock from the 70's, and the incredible punk/new wave/retro from the 80's and then it transformed from alternative into indie. Try being open-minded yourself for once and peruse through my favorites. Then you will know.
