i dont think Rolling Stone were right to say this is the greatest rock song ever (to be honest i think they only made it the the number 1 best song cuz it has rolling stone in the title) but its still an awesome song
@MHLUNA24 I think I misunderstood you; I thought you meant that people liked it because it sounds like The Rolling Stones. Anyway, it is deserving of that top spot.
Hate to be one of those annoying and attempting to be witty comments about the amount of dislikes on a video... but WHAT THE FUCK 23 people must have zero taste in music
@killie232 he is right, you cannot compare old with new music, justin bieber bruno mars lady gaga bunch of crap ,satanic masonic people, long live real music
The best was neil young saying he was walking through nyc & seen a lincoln navigator with this 30 something black guy blasting like a rolling stone and singing at the top of his lungs, classic.
@tigerboy1966 Maybe to you it is. That just means that it doesn't apply to you. Personally, this song speaks to me like none other. I had a very privileged youth. I performed phenomenally in a good high school, went to a top-ten university and, quite honestly, looked down on those who didn't. Now things have changed. My parents had a messy divorce, one died early, my career didnt exactly work out, and now I'm struggling to make ends meet. And this song gives me shivers. A true work of art.
@markpub no, mother FUCKER , IM your FUCKING FUCKER DUDE , THE ONE WHO STICKS HIS BLACK PENIS ON YOUR VAGINA-PENIS LOOKS ALIKE SO JERK OFF BITCH ....... AND PLEAS QUIT LIFE MOTHERFUCKER.
Ol' Bobby Zimmerman is quite likely the greatest original American troubadour. He truly came out of the Blue in the tumultuous 60's and personally defined so much for an entire generation. A poet, a creative genius and a real artist w/ an ear for the ironic, the truth, the common-man and the hurt of love- no one is more emulated by other artists- and no one is as 'real' as smart or as timeless. I raise a glass to you Bob, and shed a tear for how young, how beautiful and how timeless you are.
When they were putting together the fight club soundtrack it came down to the pixies or bob dylan, its still debatable whether or not they made the right decison haha ...alternate ending is a justin bieber snuff film, this time its for real tho!!!
Thank God someone has put the actual Bob Dylan on YouTube instead of all the horrible Dylan covers. I had to go through 4 covers in order to listen to this original.
I can't believe its been a week since someone's commented on this classic. It is in my books the bestest feel-good song in existance. We can all make words rhyme but in no way can replicate this puppy. Truly timeless. Endless.
@EazyClassik is talking about Rolling Stones the magazine , they ranked this song as number one on 500 greatest songs of all time... @teamaquadan please think before you speak or at least know what your talking about before you insult people.
Lol can't believe there's people so stupid to believe the rolling stones would make a song called "like a rolling stone", that's what I call ignorants who know nothing about RS

@boldello My friend you are a genius, I had to listen to it once again and I agree with you. Dylan changed the face of blues to funky folk, then he was heckled and booed when he took it electric. @shootinstarz77 What the fuck?! this masterpiece of classic rock is a crappy rap song? I dont know what youve been smoking, but i dont want any of it thanks.
@beatleforce1 Apparently you have been taking to much ex and your brain is lacking any living brain cells. Dylan spent most of his time listening to all of the old black players of blues when he arrived in N.Y.C. back in the early 60s. That is where his roots were firmly planted. Your parents were probably peaking on the most polluted LSD when you were conceived. I don't have to dream when I listen to his music. I was at the Fillmore, Bitter End Etc. Give the man his props ASSHOLE.
@beatleforce1 Duh, Thanks for the info kid, I would never have known. Where have all of 13 year old geniuses been hiding??? Go tell your mum that you bumped your head while on a trampoline and you need to be committed to an insane asylum, or at the very least you need some electro shock therapy. I strongly recommend that since you couldn't live the birth of R&R you can ask your mum if you can go to the library and take out some books on the sixties and the woodstock era.
@shootinstarz77 Just because i wasn't alive in the 50's, 60's, 70's etc it doesnt mean that i dont anything about them. Your obviously just a sadass with nothing better to do than hate on 14 year olds.
@beatleforce1 Oh how silly of me, I had no idea that I was in touch with a 14 year old prodigy of the birth of R&R. I was merely trying to instill some of the knowledge that I was lucky enough to have acquired when I was your age experiencing the summer of love and the Woodstock generation. We should sharing this so it lives on forever rather then arguing about petty nonsense such as the founding fathers of our culture. Please in the future pick on someone your own size oops I mean age!!
@shootinstarz77 As i said before, YOU DONT HAVE TO HAVE LIVED DURING A TIME TO KNOW A LOT ABOUT IT. I would have loved to have lived through the summer of love, the 70's etc, but for some reason i was chosen to be born in 1998, so i could live to see untalented teenagers sing about how they got raped by some retard last night. My age doesn't have to affect whether or not i can have an educated conversation with somone on youtube.
@beatleforce1 Listen kid you seem to be smart enough to know that I have been baiting you into this little nonsense of a thread. Opinions are like assholes, every body has one.... In the future don't allow anyone to rent space in your head and get you to thinking irrationally. I respect the fact that you believe in something and you stick to your guns. Have a good life...
i don't think that this song is best song ever....Aerosmith 4ever!!!!
