@latiasfan123 they used them at the garden at hyrule castle instead at the final part of the game. seriously I don't see what people say's missing.EXCEPT for that one spiderboss sequence which I really wish they didn't remove. The swimming ability is still there, but they decided to add different suits, apparently they didn't plan that at first so that's a good thing.. Most of what's in this trailer IS in the final version. I just want to defend twilight princess x)

Unfortunately, the only two things that they kept in Twilight Princess were the part where you could shoot bomb arrows at the birds, and fighting that crazy baboon with the Gale Boomerang. I mean this as per-scene shown, hence why I excluded the part with the cats (you can pick them up, but that place shown isn't in the release), and the Stalfos dogs exist, but you can't go to that place either, and they don't reform into Stalfos in the release.

You know twilight princess was an awsome game. With everything that happen in the first game they should make the second one more...scary or atleast more of a "dark" atmosphere. It would be cool to have a Zelda game rated R and have some intense scary monster,been always on your defence or stuff like that.

Basically, that means an old, early version of a game (usually used in testing). You definitely can see some things that look early, and that aren't in the final game. For another thing you don't really see here, the Twilight changed quite a bit (originally it was purely black and white, but they decided it was better with the odd unearthly colors and everything it ended up with).
*sigh*......I wish I could have tested the beta content of twilight princess anyway I am developing a zelda fan title. You guys could check it out on my blog. What you see is only beta created to test mechanics, collision and lighting affects. I am rigging all of the twilight models, I'm almost done so I'll start animating the characters soon.

People think beta is better because they are dissapointed that they did not get to play through the beta material. If the beat was the final game and the final game was the beta, you would still think the beta would be better.
Goddamn EVERYTHING about the Beta was so much better looking and epic than the final product...I'm going to start a crusade on Nintendo HQ to get them to make a Twilight Princess remake using the Beta version...Or at least a new game with it. The material was just too awesome to be left sitting around.

This actually was the original. A beta is like the rough draft for the game. they made this, tested it, and then after making a few changes they released the version we're able to play.
i guess they didnt add the big spider coming after you because maybe they were thinking to add it as a boss and they did but still when i look at it from this trailer it would of been better showing that in it to

It doesn't seem THAT different from the final product. Except for the spider, but that was probably changed to the boss of the Temple of Time, because it was to similar to Gommar from Ocarina.
I havn't played Z:TP in awhile but i'm 99% sure that big humongous spider isn't in the game.....if it is, like I said, i havn't played it in like a year or so
I liked Twilight Princess a lot; and even after finishing the game I like screwing around on the maps. But now when I look back at the Beta trailers I wished they had kept those places in and had a few random side quests. It would've made the game more fun to play AFTER finishing the main story. Oh well, Twilight Princess rules either way - I just hope the sequel will be good ^_^

I'm not sure if it'll even BE A SEQUEL, but they usually release two games on each console, eg. Ocarina of Time & Majoras Mask (each set in a similar Hyrule but with mildly different storylines). From what I've read of wikipedia (lmao) I heard they're still planning and they'll say something either end of this year or mid next year. D: still I wanna play the Beta version OR a new version in teh same hyrule

You know the Twili that fall out of the sky that you have to defeat before you can warp to an area? I'm pretty sure it's one of those, and they just changed how it looked before they released the game.
Twilight pricness did have an expansive world and it was great, but they failed to add in a few more sidequests to accompany it... It was an empty expansive world with a few 100-rupee chests everywhere.
I hate it when people complain about how the game didn't turn out this good. Since when does ANY form of media and entertainment EVER live up to its hype? Never. This game was awesome.

I have just found the beta Eldon bridge! It was located right at the entrance of the hyrule market but sadly it was not loaded so could'nt play through it. It looked so different the textures and the size of it! it just blew my mind that it remains! The trees around it looked completely different. The strangest thing happened when I flew down closer. It seems like a cut scene was coming up but instead I died. Oh you have to have action replay to find this.
Unfortunately, I haven't had the opportunity to play the beta. I just downloaded this trailer a few years ago before the game even had a name. I was so excited!
I thought the dungeons were too easy, but I liked the rest of the game well enough. Some of those boss fights were pretty fun. What didn't you like about it?
It just wasn't what I expected for a game that took like three or so years to make. But do to Technological limits a lot of stuff had to be taken out. It just didn't feel much like OOT or Windwaker where there were plenty of side quests. Not sure why but this game just felt as if you just go to one dungeon and quickly go to another. I just have a different taste now.
You know, I never really thought about it...but you're right, there weren't enough side quests. And I would have liked it if the world was a little bigger, too. Did you know that Sheik was supposed to be in it but they took her out?

I love the ZELDA series, and I especially love MAJORA'S MASK, well, sort of, I just wonder if there will ever be a sequel to MAJORA'S MASK, just with a different LINK, and starting at the day of the CARNIVAL OF TIME, but then something bad happens... *Whirr*

It doesn't seem THAT different from the final product. Except for the spider, but that was probably changed to the boss of the Temple of Time, because it was to similar to Gommar from Ocarina.

I havn't played Z:TP in awhile but i'm 99% sure that big humongous spider isn't in the game.....if it is, like I said, i havn't played it in like a year or so

I liked Twilight Princess a lot; and even after finishing the game I like screwing around on the maps. But now when I look back at the Beta trailers I wished they had kept those places in and had a few random side quests. It would've made the game more fun to play AFTER finishing the main story. Oh well, Twilight Princess rules either way - I just hope the sequel will be good ^_^

Finally, somebody that shares my opinion of the game. I agree with you 100%! I like running around randomly, too. Maybe there'll be more side quests in the next one. Any idea of when it comes out?

I'm not sure if it'll even BE A SEQUEL, but they usually release two games on each console, eg. Ocarina of Time & Majoras Mask (each set in a similar Hyrule but with mildly different storylines). From what I've read of wikipedia (lmao) I heard they're still planning and they'll say something either end of this year or mid next year. D: still I wanna play the Beta version OR a new version in teh same hyrule

I'd like to third that because I like running around randomly doing sidequests and stuff too :D. I'd rather have them take out a dungeon or two if it meant keeping in the 'beta' forest!

yes, at the beginning of 2010 there will be a next zelda for wii, called "ride of mechancholy", and in tne end of 2009 there will be a new zelda for N DS called "Spirit Tracks"

thats fake. only true thing is about a zelda for wii. they didn't even talked about a zelda for ds yet. plus i doubt the NDS zelda game would come before the wii one since phantom came out a year after twilight when the wii didn't have its REAL zelda game( tp was originally made for gc)

what happened to this game? what's Twilight Princess :0 I hope we see all this stuff in the future. I did like Twilight Princess but it just doesn't seem as good as the beta... when I first saw this trailer I couldn't wait to swim in that water like that and walk around the forest and play with the cats. who knows what'll happen for the next game

You know the Twili that fall out of the sky that you have to defeat before you can warp to an area? I'm pretty sure it's one of those, and they just changed how it looked before they released the game.

Twilight pricness did have an expansive world and it was great, but they failed to add in a few more sidequests to accompany it... It was an empty expansive world with a few 100-rupee chests everywhere.

I hate it when people complain about how the game didn't turn out this good. Since when does ANY form of media and entertainment EVER live up to its hype? Never. This game was awesome.

I agree with you 100%! I personally loved the game, even if the dungeons were too easy. I think they combined all of the good things from Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker to make this game. The game WAS awesome!

I have just found the beta Eldon bridge! It was located right at the entrance of the hyrule market but sadly it was not loaded so could'nt play through it. It looked so different the textures and the size of it! it just blew my mind that it remains! The trees around it looked completely different. The strangest thing happened when I flew down closer. It seems like a cut scene was coming up but instead I died. Oh you have to have action replay to find this.

I thought the dungeons were too easy, but I liked the rest of the game well enough. Some of those boss fights were pretty fun. What didn't you like about it?

It just wasn't what I expected for a game that took like three or so years to make. But do to Technological limits a lot of stuff had to be taken out. It just didn't feel much like OOT or Windwaker where there were plenty of side quests. Not sure why but this game just felt as if you just go to one dungeon and quickly go to another. I just have a different taste now.

You know, I never really thought about it...but you're right, there weren't enough side quests. And I would have liked it if the world was a little bigger, too. Did you know that Sheik was supposed to be in it but they took her out?

hyrule field looked more badass (dead trees ftw) teh enemies were cooler, and i know it didn't show it here but the twilight realm was cooler too. plus the forest, and the temples looked better (fire temple)... damn i wanna play the beta. Dx
