WOW n WOW, I just love all of ur music choices, I wished I had all ur albums. I used to at one point. Great to know someone has kept them can't seem to find them anywhere.
I was born in '75 my parents were immigrants that live in Chicago. I listen to all kinds of music but this is home. Tejano music is still alive just not pop. If u still want to hear Tejano log on KXTN Punto COM. Its in San Antonio. Want to see Los Dinos click on my page they have a new song.
Joe Lopez did a great version of this song with Los Fabulosos. This is True Tejano at its best. Wow , Thank You for posting this for all to enjoy.......Guero
La tejana from chicago illinois says yea thats the old school tejano music that is top of all music that was hitting big back in the 1970 thanks for the music.
Great music...the best!!! Hey Bro...I am looking for a band called "Los Hombres" back in 88 or 89, mas o menos, I think they were from Houston, can someone help? Thanks
yah i know the royal jesters made one. it's not as good as this version, well in my opinion. the royal jesters version has a more big band sound to it. also like almost every tejano band has recorded prieta linda.
Thank You 2ndbgde., I'll Go Look For Ritmo 7's Version Someday. And I'm So Sorry lizzo17 That I Used Your Account To Write The Comment About Little Joe's Version Of Prieta Linda. Sorry.

I'd never heard this version. I like it. Didn't know Joe Lopez sang with LF4. Cool. I still prefer Little Joe's version, but this one is badazz, too.

Great keyboard work by Mando Hinojosa on the legendary Hammond B-3! Truly a Tejano classic with Joe Lopez on vocals.

I like this song, my dad said it did come out in 75', but Joe was the only one from the valley.
He said he had this as a single LP, but it disappeared somewhere.
