Thanks for this post, I come back thirty years with this recording.
The last time I heard him was about five years ago, in Moscow. Incidentally, I was turning pages at his solo recital. He played two Beethoven Sonatas and two Prokofiev ones - 2 and 7. He was old, but very very impressive. And this performance of the Scriabin Fantasy is truly excellent!

Never have I enjoyed this piece this much! Thank you so much. Btw, just how hard is this piece? Seems harder than Islamey imo.
