@dolerbom because murder is a violent crime, it is taking someone else's right to live away. All other drugs aside, marijuana is a substance that is highly relaxing and is totally manageable within one's personal life, and it is sad that due to ignorance and fear people seem to think it is something that needs to be controlled. What you do behind closed doors for your own enjoyment should be your business as long as it doesn't do harm to others, like consuming alcohol already is.

In return, the consumer (hopefully) would be assured that they are getting standardized strength levels to choose from. Theoretically of course!

Doubter’s I talk to always quote the MSM and never seem to have seen his speeches and interviews. Therefore I propose a simple and effective strategy to get Paul’s message out in time to win the GOP nomination: Print out pages that read “YouTube Ron Paul, decide for yourself.” No exclamation point. Drugs need to stay illegal. We have laws in order to deter people from doing things that should not be done, and things like drugs should not be. We do not want people in our society taking drugs just because their freedom says they can.... We need rules like this so the people in our society can be sane.... you may say we are controlling people and making them unable to do what they want..... but then why don't we make murder legal?

All other drugs aside, marijuana is a substance that is highly relaxing and is totally manageable within one's personal life, and it is sad that due to ignorance and fear people seem to think it is something that needs to be controlled. What you do behind closed doors for your own enjoyment should be your business as long as it doesn't do harm to others, like consuming alcohol already is.

As for it being proven to have harmful affects, so does sugar if you abuse it. If you look into it, the benefits that marijuana can provide far outweigh the negative propaganda that people believe out of fear. You're right about comparisons, but I think that you're wrong about laws, people can think for themselves.

@NateO123 I just do not like the idea of it being legal. The fact that people could start openly smoking pot just feels wrong. It does have harmful affects, and many more people would smoke it while they are supposed to be doing important things. Just picture a high construction worker who is using a tool that could very well kill dozens if he messes up.

What are you talking about? I don't know what comment your replying too, I don't even know what your getting at? I smoke cannabis, I do not drink alcohol of any sort. I personally believe cannabis sativa should be legal, and tax regulated. Alcohol should have way stricter policies, like when people go to the bar and drive home? That needs a resolution. Sir, with all do respect. I never brought up logic to you, not once.

@Big5000K He doesnt want to BAN abortion he simply wants to take away the fed powers of over governing the masses and let the STATES decide. Only for special cases like inbreeding, rape, danger to the mother...those are the ONLY arguments pro choicers have. Unless it is a special case it is murder. If you say its not then what if your wife would have an abortion behind your back. Wouldnt your argument to her be"Why did you kill our child?" His racism actually was dis proven

@Big5000K you believe in abortion no matter what? Your lucky your mom didnt. I believe everyone has the right to do what they want AS LONG AS...it does not hurt another human being or their property. IF the mother's life was in danger because of pregnancy, or the child is retarded, or rape induced pregnancy should be the ONLY options of why abortion would be "OK". Which those types of issues could be addressed and made "special" consideration. Otherwise, what the hell are u supporting? Death?

I have two little girls...unless you are a parent you can never truly understand why states should not sponsor abortion under ANY circumstances save the ones I listed below. Are you FOR the death penalty? And if you say "only for special cases" then of course you have made my point. Abortion without "true" justification is one of the most selfish acts a human can commit.

@Readabookism I do not think a fetus is classified as a human as it can not think, can not feel and is not conscious. I never said anything about your political stance either. I do not think you are one to state what should be legal or not, you are a single person, your experience or beliefs are not universal.
Also, I am glad my mother did not, but I do not see why she would at all seeing as she wanted a child. I do not see how you can decide what is 'true' you are not some sort of god.
