  • Why was Will Ferrell the one who sang in Step Brothers??

  • Am I the only one who thinks about Canada/Matthew when she heard the cellophane song? :<

  • i love the emotion he put into his song!<3

  • noooooo hunyak! D:

  • It's sad that Amos only has one song because he actually sings the best out of most of these actors.

  • His sparkly suit ftw! :L

  • Holy crap, the end of 'Mr. Cellophane' gives me chills.

  • poor catalin <3 thats soo.. unfair !

  • @TheBeepk23 yup its so unfair but thats chicage for you :P

  • @Deadganon that's life for you. =/

  • Think about it guys. During the 'Cell Block Tango', Velma told her alibi of how she passed out and couldn't have murdered Veronica and Charlie, right? Well what if Hunyak's part was also an alibi, and she was in fact guilty?

Oh well, its just a thought, haha.

  • @xaflightrisk I'm in the cell block tango :)

  • @xaflightrisk Who would've murdered Veronica and Charlie other than Velma?

  • @jahangirhussain1 The passing out thing was just her alibi (her way of claiming that she didn't do it, when she obviously did.)

  • are you serious ah-ah was hung i started to cry

  • I feel so bad for the Hunyak! I don't understand why do serious killers like Velma and Roxie can get off the hook while an innocent girl like the Hunyak is hanged? Is that because she didn't have the right representation?

  • She must have been forigen, and thats probably why they hung her they knew she was innocent they're all just a whole bunch of rasist redneck fucks!!! Lol!

  • Capital punishment is disgusting...and if only one innocent person is killed, this is a greater injustice than 100 guilty people going free. Someone please tell that to the D.A and governor of Texas.

  • The only innocent one gets hung. x.x

  • @UponWishingStars irony's a b**** I guess :P

  • i always get so sad when the Hungarian girl gets hanged...so sad...

  • 7:12 wow! thats a LOT of sequins around the eye! i wish i could wear that makeup every day!!!

  • lol...

"I'm sick of everyone treating me like I'm a dumb common criminal"

"But you are a dumb common criminal" XD I <3 Billy

  • @iaianimedot1317 ahah hesthe best! XD

  • why did catalin get hanged??

  • @PrettyEyePearl she couldn't speak english, they all thought she and her "lover" and beheaded her husband, but she was innocent. But since she couldn't speak english, she was found guilty :\

  • :L The irony is I don't know that actors name :L

  • At least Catalins going to a better place =]....I CANT BELIEVE THEY *HANGED* CATALIN!!!

  • At least Catalins going to a better place =]

  • At least we know Catalin is going to a better place but STILL!! Thats CRUEL

  • hey, anyone else notice that the lady justice is the hungarian girl? :-I

  • Its awful when the presenter guy said: Ladies and Gentlemen FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT AND PLEASURE!"

  • 0:26 ....poor guyy! x

  • Amis: "Wait a minute, I'm getting confused here!"

  • "Are human beings made of more than air?"

    Yes, mostly water.

  • @Cropcircledesigner he said "A" not "are". Stupid and that wasn't even clever.

  • @nicelydone31 chill it's just a movie

  • @MissAmerica4897 The point of the movie is to show how fame and fortune can get you out of anything, even murder. You can manipulate anyone with a newspaper, especially in those times where they didn't have DNA testing and all that.

  • @TheSickHumanBeing DNA testing and "All that Jazz" lol :)

  • @love15lady Oooh I see what you did there!

  • so typical of life that the innocent is punished and the guilty go free

  • Kurt sang that song on Glee

I knew of Chicago before Glee, of course, but I never realized it was this song until now. (:

  • @musicianforlife8295 Razzle Dazzle???

  • what was the crime that she was hung for anyway? and why her?

  • @luvinbell43242 she was acussed of chopping off his husband's head but she is not guilty, she tried to explain to the police but she is not able to speak english so they could not understand het at all, that's why she actually said in her cell block tango song part

  • @luvinbell43242 look up the song Cellblock tango. look forher story part go on google translate and look for hungarian? i think? to english. read the story.

    Truly heart breaking =(

  • You guys..... the people clapped at the alternate one... not when she actually got hanged. T_T

  • @TheBlueGirl100 omg... that's the POINT. You see this stuff happening but deep down it's all just a 'circus act' for your amusement.

  • poor Amos :(

  • I Cried when Catalin got hung :((

Human is so sick tht they clapped when she was hung, they just cared about her making history terrible just disguisting

  • god, when john c reilly hits that note..... my stomach turns.

  • I love the cellophane song..and i always cry when Catalin is hanged...

  • I love the cellophane song..He has a great voice..:)

  • I cried when the Hungarian girl died!

  • I feel so bad about this part. Only the innocent ones wind up getting punished. There's no justice, but I think it's a good part of the story.

  • "I OBJECT!!"

"your honor i haven't even asked a question yet!"

For someone in the legal field that's funny lol. Hell for anyone that's funny

  • I like how in this movie nobody gets punished except the innocent person

  • @Shadowflame15863 i wanna like this but i dont like the idea...

  • whats cellephone? someoine plz tell me!!!!!!!!

  • @TheCake1099

its cellophane, it's basically plastic wrap

  • @TheCake1099 american cling film

  • @TheCake1099 its a see through plastic rapper thing.

  • 1:11-1:32 always gives me chills.

  • Well, better to be hanged in the 20s, rather then spend your life in jail now

  • great liar makes a great lawyer

  • part 9?

  • I loved when Kurt sang mr cellophane on glee

  • wow, the part when she was hung was so sad...how can people can stand there and watch that?

  • Mister Cellophane is such an underrated song, but its still my favorite. Amos is a great character

  • my favorite song in the whole movie!

  • omg i feel so bad for that Hungarian girl :-( thats just horrible. for the remaining week id have left, i would be so scared

  • AMOS <3 i wanna give him a hug and say " I SEE YOU! " kinda like an avatar...

  • all the world is a stage. the late nights rehearsing, the costumes and props, the character profiles, the entire plot. . . . of Roxie's show for the masses.

    incredible!

  • omg... she was innoncent...

  • I love how this musical makes us, as viewers, feel sorry for Amos and Hunyak, but at the same time we cheer Roxie and Velma on.

  • i hate how the music is muchlouder than the vocals:\

  • I cried when the Hungarian girl was hung. Ir reminded me of the slaves and just by us disobeying the rules once or not at all we were hung. put in contraptions, and even more terrible stuff.

  • @blackandbluificaable But that was a part of history. There were white slaves too, in black countries, who suffered horrific punishments. Its just how the world works.

  • @TweetaNova On wikipedia white slavery is a term used to descirbe sexual slavery. It doesn't have to do with race. I just googled it.

  • we are going to make a sims 2 version of this movie! :D

  • @TardisTV1 I would love to see it! :)

  • i think thats the cutest little dress ever

  • bless that hungarian girl i wonder wat she was accused of?

  • @TardisTV1 cutting her husbands head off

  • @lisettebeltran thanks

  • @TardisTV1 if you look up the translation to her song in the cell block tango she tells her story-- that her famous roomate chopped off her husband's head and she was accused of being in on it.

  • @MNSDaz thanks

  • so was the woman who was hung inccent?

  • @06donohuek yes she was the only one who was innocent. how sad

  • @06donohuek yup. :(

  • @06donohuek yes she was. :s

  • Of course the one person who didnt do anything gets hanged, thats fucked up!

  • @ponyfrk i know rite?!

  • why is it the nice people are the ones that get kicked in the balls in this movie?

  • @NiKasuma irony?

  • @LittleMissDreamero lol I guess so

  • Sad that the only innocent girl there, was hanged =/

  • Hey, it's the CASE of the Murder of Fred CASELY! 8D I crack myself up...

  • @eriyana12 BWAHAHAHA!

  • It's so sad....the ONE innocent one gets hung. Can't help but wonder if it wasn't race related

  • haha i love how she is trying to knit during all of this! hah :)

  • here's my question why the hell would reporters and people watch such a sad event just to get that girl publicity when she's dead? I would not watch such a sad act just to get a couple of bucks from your news repoting boss SHAME ON YOU PHONY REPORTERS!!! r.i.p hungarian girl...

  • @hottie6434 I don't think it was as much as the publicity as it was disbelief. But maybe that's my innocence talking. lol It was the first girl to be executed.

  • the hungarian girl is innocent and she gets hanged. just shows the irony of life. and all the guilty just getting off free

  • I love how uncomfortable Roxie looks during the reenactment of the murder. I guess she felt something about it after all.

  • @Johnnycatmeow culd be an act :p shes really good at it xD

  • I cried. D; Poor Katilyn <3

  • that made me mad she was the only one who didnt kill anyone and she dies >:[

well at least she dosent go to hell :D like the others probbaly will in the movie >.> but its sad i really likeded the hungarian T^T

  • wait didnt flynn quit when they had a fight? and now all of a sudden hes defending her again? im confused....

  • @lolaspakola she saw the hungarian girl get hanged and got scared and rehired him

  • I hate how roxie and velma go free but the poor hungarian woman is murdered.

  • what's up with the thumb, 3 fingers gesture? :)

  • NOOOO! She was like the only one who I actually truly wanted to not die!

  • I no its bloody awful isnt it!

  • Oh dear god, I feel sick for that poor girl who hanged.

  • You've got to admit. The dude that plays Amos has an awesome voice. :U

  • @TristanS17 John C. Riley is amazing!!!!!!!!! That's who plays Amos. :3 And, yeah, he does! And he's an AMAZING actor! :D

  • The Hungarian girl's accent is totally off. Probably 'cause the actress who plays her is Russian.

  • wow, this is sick o_o the only not guilty girl and she's the first to go..

  • poor mr. cellaphane D:

No one ever knows he's there- especially his bitch of a wife

  • The poor Hungarian girl...I felt so bad for her, I almost cried watching it.

  • hungarian disappearing act= BIG LIPPED ALLIGATOR MOMENT

  • @TapDancer70 haha i love the nostalgia critic but this scene was relevent

  • the Hungarian lady is really beautiful!

  • 9:52 i love the random dancer appearing

  • By far the best performance in the movie..... We know you were there......

  • Poor Amos. And poor Hungarian girl. Dang. And that applause at the end sums up how sick we humans are. We love death and scandle. We eat it up and barely give a care about the people who are hurting. Who cares, as long as we are entertained?

  • the clapping is for the performance not her death. the clapping was a metaphor that she received clapping for her act and the hanging paralleled her act

  • i agree

  • @Lundarigirl haha, its a sad thing. Why do you think the news is full of negativity and drama? because noone wants to hear a good ending. They need controversy

  • @Lundarigirl I definitely agree. That such a punishment is still even an option in this country appalls me.

  • @Lundarigirl Actually the applause in the Hunyak's act was because she actually disappeared she didn't die in her act but in the movie's reality she did.

  • @Lundarigirl isn't that the plot of this show?

  • poor hungarian INNOCENT woman

  • Wait, they kill her and let Roxie/Velma live? Jeez, how mean!

  • The "Hungarian Disappearing Act" is my favorite scene in the whole movie. Something about it, the showy, light-hearted touch they put on something so cruel and morbid as an innocent woman being hanged ('disappearing') just gets to me. Amazing scene, amazing movie!

  • this is filmed sooo cleverly! :) I love how he confuses Amos and a chorus girl appears behind him..

  • see this is why i'm so against the death penalty, does any one see this! i'm a libra!

    i love razzledazzle.

  • not cool dude, not cool. she was INNOCENT!!!!

  • that part always kills me when they kill that poor woman.

  • I love this movie!

  • john c reilly did a great job as mr. cellophane.

  • wow....that was so sad at katilyns execution :(

is it me or did she look really beautiful in that scene. the real execution and cabaret execution :)

  • poor hungry girl.... death punishment sux

  • 0:34 - 1:00

    Love that whole part

    exspecially 0:50 - 0:57

    <3333

  • love the white ballerina inspired shoes.

  • Oh, God, the terror that poor woman must have felt!

  • Roxie's a bitch

  • the only innocent one is the only one to die. :/

  • but she's NOT guilty! poor girl!

  • Could you get hanged in the 20´s in USA!? Omg!

  • @J0NNASE You can still be executed there today.

  • There is just something about John C. Reilly I just can't get enough of. His voice and face are so unique. He's great (:

  • that is so unfair that Katilyn had to die. She was innocent!

  • Now thats sad, they sould have at least given her someone that could UNDERSTAND HER

  • the hanging just sharpened the knife edge that is the impact of this film. so cruel and yet so hideously ironic that seems like life sometimes.

  • Poor Amos. =(

  • 3:40-4:50 my favorite part.

  • That is just horrible. the only innocent person gets hung.

  • that would be irony, dear.

  • John C Reilly gave such a fantastic performance in this film. I'm impressed.

  • i feel bad for john c. reilly. they're practically making fun of him. o well. at least in real life john c. reilly was nominated for an oscar.

  • Ah, everyone loves an Irishman, eh ?

Except for the English and the Scots, ha, ha.

Half Irish, half Lithuanian, and all American.

John's a fine actor, and successful as well.

Pretty faces are a dime a dozen in Hollywood; but John's face has character. I doubt he'd get as many good roles as he's gotten if he were just an average looking guy.

He's good in GANGS OF NEW YORK, I tell you !

He's was up for a Golden Globe once, too.

I guess you already know John was born and raised in Chicago ?

  • What I love most about this movie, is that they don't just burst into song, like in many other musicals... They have this big show... Whit the girls with feathers, and lights and. Ahhh. I loooove it <3

  • that was horrorable she was innocent!

  • the lady their hanging did she actually do it and what was she accussed for ?
